My husband is a truck driver and he got this to hold his phone for gps. He says it great and it’s actually sturdy. The phone stays in place. He just said it looks very bulky but other then that it’s great and he’ll get used to it .

Better cup holder than the one it’s sitting in
I love this. Not getting paid to say this, just trying to help because there are so many options out there. I have this weird but awesome cup holder on both ends of my dash (09 Honda fit). It’s perfect height for gps. The tall edges hold the cup securely. They provide little plastic things that grip your cup even more. It can fit a wide range of cup holder sizes because the base is so small and expands a lot without being clunky. The quick release makes it really easier to take off the phone, and putting it on is even easier, thank god finally lol. I would like it if the attachment point from the arm to the device swiveled and could be secured with a knob like the other joints, but it’s easier enough to make it work because it is two separate pieces. It looks nice, works well, and isn’t expensive. Go for it!

It holds a phone using up one of your cup holder spots, with an adjustable foot.
It did not work at all for my 2004 Ford Ranger 5spd with floor mounted cupholders. It was too flimsy, and with the angle of the dashboard, and the location of the cupholders, it was unusable.

I had a great Weather-tech phone holder that I was using but was sad because it took up one of the cup holder spots. Then I saw one like this on another website ad on Facebook. I always check to see if things are available on Amazon when ads come up on Facebook because I don't trust the websites that are advertising the item. My Guardio app has blocked and warned me about a lot of those websites so I just started trying to find the items on Amazon or other legit places.HAPPY that I found this! I freed up the cupholder and have an even better phone holder in that the phone is higher and easier to see/reach and is still steadily held. The only "down" side to this wonderful item is that the bottom of the holder jiggles a bit in the car's cupholder space because the extended arms don't fully meet the insides of the space. I have found how to stabilize it with a small microfiber cloth so it's now stable and secure so all is good.Bottom line, I am a happy, happy camper!

Inner cup way to big
I'm not sure what they think is going inside that cup holder but it won't be a can of beer for sure. Maybe a 2L of Pepsi or something. The size is way too big
