What attachments come with the sander as standard as I need to Tcut and buff the car prior to polishing - not sure from the description.

In terms of polishing/buffing, the only head it came with was a wool pad, for what I use it for this isn't up to scratch and would not use this so I purchased a farecla compounding pad and buffing pad, also if used in conjunction with the correct compound and glazing paste like farecla g3 and high gloss glaze it will give you a much better professional finish.

Is the variable speed for this in set limits (800rpm,1000rpm,1200rpm etc). Or can you adjust the device to random speeds between the range.

Hi, The speed changes gradually by rotating the dial with your thumb as you work. You can easily go from very slow revs to high speed much like pressing a car accelerator. For the price, I can't fault this machine. I used mine to buff up an entire VW van after wet and dry sanding every panel to correct a poor respray.The machine took the whole project in its stride with lots of power in reserve.Kind regards,Kurt.

What is the best way to use this to polish car? I'm not sure on the way to do on your own

Hi, I used this with a medium sponge disc and medium cutting paste then a fine sponge disc and fine cutting paste. Do a small area at a time --- 2ft sq-ish, lightly, with the sponge damp and a light smear of paste. START SLOW or you'll spin the paste off, then work gently on the area for five minutes or so with the medium paste till you complete a panel then do the fine paste. You can use the tool to polish as well if you get the a polishing disc. I did my Merc with this and it came up a treat.

Does this Polisher work from 230V mains, the product specifations don't specify what the power source is.

On the paperwork I received with the tool it says the voltage is 230v-50hz.
