Are these gloves good for raynards

I bought them back in 2012 for this purpose as my hands often get very icy cold and won't warm up without using my hair drier or soaking them in warm water. I found that if my hands were already warm and I was inside, they worked ok. However, on bad days or if typing, I found they made little to no difference. In some ways their ability to transfer heat worked against me and my hands felt colder with them on. They worked better than the fingerless gloves I'd previously bought, but not well enough really. I wore them a bit in very cold winters under leather gloves for an added layer of warmth and that worked. But nowadays I'm mostly housebound and so can generally just use the hair drier to warm my hands when they need it which I find to be more effective as it restores circulation to a more normal level and stops the horrid pain from the cold.

Are these gloves actually thermal?

They are designed to be worn as a liner glove and worked very well with my down filld mittens. I suffer badly from cold hands and have discovered that mittens are better at keeping your hands warm overall, but add these as inner gloves and it's even better.

Where are these gloves made?

I don’t know where they are made but they are nicely made. I wear them inside fine leather gloves for extra warmth.

Do these gloves have a touchscreen fingertip?

It isn't very comfortable to use these gloves with touchscreen. I guess trying to type sms in them wouldn't be easy. Just scrolling the screen is fine.
