Luxury Soft Crushed Velvet Glitz Fire Retardant Upholstery Velour Material Craft Bed Headboard Cushion Curtain Fabric 140cm Width (Ice Grey)

I was creating a new snow scene for under my Xmas tree. I needed some material that shone like a frozen lake that I could sew into my felt base. . I came across this and hoped it would do the job so I ordered a metre. It’s perfect for my frozen pond and I was very impressed by how easy it was to work with. It’s a little stretchy ( it’s upholstery fabric) but it’s easy to cut and I did hem it round as it frays a little. Obviously my frozen pond is very small so I’ve got loads left but I’m just making some appliqué Xmas stockings ( for next year) and I’m going to use the rest to line them as it will look really good as the roll top. You could do so many things with this material. It would make great cushion covers or use it to re cover a chair or headboard. For me it makes a great addition to my craft store. Good value for money and excellent quality.

Bought this to recover a headboard and I’m delighted with the result , the material is easy to work with , has stretch , is nice and soft , lovely colour , for the price of one metre of fabric I have a nice new headboard ( small double ) would recommend this fabric and seller the fabric arrived quickly was well packaged

Ordered this to recover an old chair i have been painting to go with my old dressing table. I'm no professional but I think it came out great. Amazing what a little DIY can achieve.Really impressed with quality and colour and fast delivery. Great value for money. I looked at buying an antique chair like this and it was gonna cost upwards of £70 !

Used this material to upholster my headboard and it looks amazing. It was great quality crushed velvet material, not tacky and cheap looking. My headboard looks like it’s from a really expensive store, it’s really beautiful at night. The material is amazing quality and really easy to use. I never leave reviews and I had a few doubts after reading some of the reviews here but this is an honest review. This material is great and this is a great value for money.

This is great quality for the price. Its looks great. It is thinner than I expected but it doesn't have to be thick for what I need it for. I've bought it to cover my headboard and my bedframe and need another two but over all cost will be £18 and that's fab and it's going to look the part. Thank you.

Unfortunitely, you get what you pay for. This fabric is nice and strong, cheap, nice colour but not crushed velvet, more like flat velvet with the odd permanent giant crease added. Not really what i was expecting and I probably won't buy again. Other than the cost and the delivery, which was nice and quick the fabric itself was disappointing.

excellent quality, the material is thick and luxurious. the velvet is soft and easy to work with. I used it to recover dining room chairs and the results are great. I would say to use slightly longer staples for this as the material is nice and thick but it made for a beautiful finish.

I love this fabric ... It's luxurious and expensive looking ... It's not stretchy which is fantastic for making seat covers..you can tell this will last through wear and year.... And fire retardant ... It took a day and a half to get here which is fantastic considering lockdown so I've ordered more coz I'm that impressed ... I receive mend this fabric ... I have the black xxx
