Circuit Performance Tuner Key Acorn Lug Nuts Neo-Chrome 12x1.5 Forged Steel (24pc + Tool)

Just put them on today, and they went on pretty nicely. All of the nuts came individually wrapped in little bags. No scratches on any of them. During installation, they went on pretty cleanly. The tool performed well. I think some of the problems people have had with the tool becoming worn out, or the nuts getting worn out, come from over torquing. Make sure you torque them to spec, which is around 70-80 ft-lbs for 12 x 1.5 threads. That's really easy to go over, if you don't have a torque wrench. Invest in one.Keep the tool half way clean and wiped off while installing, and it wont get scratched up. The upper part of my tool did, just because I was using a 12 point socket that wasn't the right size in the beginning, but the part that slots into the lug nuts stayed pretty clean. It hasn't scratched through the paint on it.Super small outer diameter of the lug nuts, which is really nice.

When I bought the first set, there was one lug nut that was not threaded. This was a No no since it Could not be screwed on to the wheel. I returned that set and ordered another set hoping to get a better set. However I was surprised to find that the second set in even worse condition. Not only was one lug nut not threaded, but some of the lug nuts had surface rust inside the lug nuts interiors. The box that it also came in looked like it has been through the shedder. Save your time and money and avoid this product.

The surface area of the conical seats is very small. I track my car, and will not use these because I am concerned about their performance under lateral load. I have never seen a wheel nut tear through a wheel, but these certainly look like they could! Otherwise, they are very nicely machined -- just poorly designed!

I've been buying different ones, already bought 3 different ones, finally got the perfect ones. If you have rims with a very tight opening, these are great because they tighten from the top.

There were a few “locking lugs” in the pack. But only 2, accidentally. Because there was no key. You get what you pay for. I pawned these off on a guy that comes around begging and told him not to use them. Different thread pitches, and harsh blemishes. If you don’t care, get em... it’s good for throwing.

Rusted within 24 hours of installation. Even better, when the wheels condensate or it rain, the water trapped inside the lug well burps rust water onto the wheel. Great :(

Came with box taped up and missing 3 lug nuts. Box looked like it might have been returned and sold to me.

You get what you pay for, but for the value I'll say that they're great so far! The only thing I have noticed is that the lock key and edges of nuts finish came off after a few uses. Great to start with or on a budget
