Sucks up damp like a sponge dropped in a bucket! We had a tap leak under the sink but even after wiping everything up we knew the water had seeped into places we couldn't reach, so we decided to try these. The amount of water they absorbed was a astonishing, as you can see in the photo. We've now got one hanging permanently in the car and it too is just sucking the moisture out of the air.

I’ve been using these ANSIO wardrobe dehumidifier hanging bags for a few weeks now and I’m quite happy with the results. The bags started collecting moisture within a couple of days of hanging them up in my wardrobe and cupboard spaces. You can actually see the water collecting at the bottom, which is quite satisfying and reassuring that it’s doing its job.I live in the UK where dampness and condensation can be a real issue, especially during colder months. I live in a 1930s semi with failing double glazing and no insulation. With soaring energy costs, I've been avoiding putting on the heating but was worried about this causing damp or mould as the air in the house had a damp, unpleasant chill to it, as did my clothes in the wardrobe.I bought these little bags based on the great reviews and put them round the house. I also made sure to ventilate regularly. For the first week or so nothing happened and I thought it was a con! Then the crystals started to disappear and the bags filled with water. The bags fill at different rates, depending where they are. The pictures show the ones in my wardrobe and at the bottom of the stairs.I only have my heating on for 3 half hours throughout the day but now the air doesn't feel damp and no mould has developed. I was so impressed I ordered a second pack.

I've had a bit of a damp problem in my bedroom every winter for years now and generally it's easy to keep on top of, however, my wardrobe always seemed to suffer, with my clothes ending up with a damp, musty smell. These have sorted the issue right out and combined with an air freshener (I made my own by spraying my favourite perfume onto some cotton wool, placed them in a small decorative bowl and placed that in the back of the wardrobe) have entirely solved the problem. My wardrobe is dry as a bone now and my clothes smell great.They're super easy to use as they come with a little built-in hanger, you just hook them over your hanger rail and leave them to do their work. it's quite amazing how much water they draw in from the air honestly. They last quite a while, though I guess their life will change depending on the severity of your damp problem, for me, I get about 6 weeks from each one. Considering you get 5 in a pack, these work out to be a real bargain and have solved a small frustration in my life. I'll continue to buy these for as long as the problem lasts.
