I got my set of three Brennenstuhl UK Remote Controlled plugs back in Sept 2022. Between Dec'22 and Jan'23 one of the sockets developed this weird behavior of not disconnecting the power supply upon pressing the power-off button. Yes, the green power light goes off but the plug keeps providing the power. This happens intermittently and on regular basis. Also, the power-off "click" sound is more muted in comparison to the other, still fully functional plugs.I submitted my inquiry in the second half of Janaury'23 and I still haven't got a reply back from the manufacturer. All three plugs are powering on my PC components and none of them is anywhere near the 1KW limit per plug. Can I trust the plug?

Replacements for Brennenstuhl units now failing after many years of sterling service. New redesigned, wider units do not fit in the ‘D’ line cable tidy box (bought from Amazon) like the old ones did. Shame. So items reluctantly returned.

Used one last night for my room heater and after 5 minutes it turned off and i thought the heater was set to low and turned off thinking it was the right temperature but this plug was really hot and stopped working luckily it didn't catch fire

I have used this brand for a long time and always been satisfied. However this particular model did not come with the battery for the remote even when the packaging clearly state it. In any case after getting one battery for it there was no way to pair the remote with any of the receiver. The remote itself seems to be defective. So I'm returning them.

Very pleased with this product. Easy to set up. Great to use in sockets you can't easily reach.
