Quick and easy just like the hospital ones highly recommend gives an accurate reading everytime

Easy to use and much faster than the underarm one we had. My mum almost didn't trust it because of how fast it is. I like the idea of changing the part that goes in the ear but the fact that I'll have to keep buying that is a bit of a con for me. Overall, it's a good product and I'm satisfied.

The Braun ThermoScan 3 is very easy to use and works well for its purpose. The measurement is quick—just about 1 second—which is great when dealing with restless little ones. It’s clearly designed to be family-friendly, especially suitable for babies and infants.The reading accuracy is very good, though not perfect—especially for newborns it performs well enough to give a reliable indication of fever. While it’s not 100% precise, it’s close enough to be trusted for everyday use.The brightness of the digital display isn’t the best, which can make it a bit harder to read in certain lighting conditions.Overall, the value for money is excellent, making this a solid choice if you want a fast, user-friendly, and generally accurate ear thermometer for home use.

For the last 5 years I've been using a more traditional thermometer that you place under the armpit, but when my baby had a temperature during the night this time round I found I couldn't get an accurate reading from it. Saw the doctor using this and decided to get it for myself and its super fast, easy to use and accurate! Plus it's no fuss for babies that won't keep still!!!

Just about to start chemo so needed a good thermometer this is accurate and easy to use. Fits into ear well and can get replacement covers very functional brightness is good easy to use

I wish I’d never bought this thermometer. I thought buying a known brand would serve me well. It’s no less than dangerous. It’s awful for the following reasons :* Incredibly inaccurate, it always reads less than it should (I used other thermometers to confirm).* It repeatedly shows different temperatures, even if you don’t take the thermometer out of the ear. I’ve also tried taking it out and putting it back in and it still reads various temperatures. I also tried leaving it in the ear several seconds before I pressed the button to take a reading and it’s still inaccurate.* It’s constantly showing and bleeping with an error code. I have to keep pressing the button to get it to clear.* It’s incredibly difficult to work out which bleeps mean what, wether it’s the error code, switching on or off or if it’s it’s supposedly taken the temperature. If you’re hard of hearing, DO NOT buy this device. Buy a version that will illuminate red for a fever.* My child is 10 yrs old and I find it difficult to get it sufficiently into their ear, which they find uncomfortable and get agitated because I’m having to repeatedly take their temperature in the hope to get an ‘average’ because it’s so unreliable.* The screen is difficult to read compared to my cheap oral thermometer I’ve had for years. The green screen on this Braun is rather grey/green and the numbers blend in too much.* This version of thermometers screen stays green even with a fever. When you’re stressed with a poorly child, having the screen go red is incredibly helpful.* You have to change the ear piece cover every time you use the thermometer. I did know this before I purchased it, but if you’ve got a frequently poorly person like I have, that cost will add up, especially when you’re having to repeatedly test at the same time because the readings are always different with this thermometer.I expected for over £20 I was committing to quality and a reliable thermometer. I was very wrong this time. For now I will stick to under £10 oral thermometers that work as they should and that’s far easier and safer to use. Sorry.
