Pan screws to floor (you provide fixings); Cistern screws to pan (fixings supplied in cistern package); Cistern is provided with fixing holes near the top back edge for screwing to wall (you provide fixings - you will need a metal washer (2) and a rubber washer (4) and a suitable screw (2) to give a pucker job).MRC

I just would like to know if the toilet has a plastic seat like other toilets

Yes it does, and it lets the toilet down, Everything else is great except the cheap tacky plastic seat. I changed mine within days.
