Technically as advertised, with disappointments.
Overall the product is as advertised but only technically. This was bought as a upgrade to our old and inexpensive electric blanket that still functions after a decade of use and care, so you could say that I didn't really set a high bar given this cost over twice as much as discribes itself as 'Luxury'.The negatives:The dual controllers feel cheaper than a Kinder egg toy and are light weight with cables trailing out of the back, these cables weigh more than the controller so any shift in slack can cause it to relocate. Light sleepers may find annoyance in the loud clunks in the night as the bulky but hollow boxes fall down the back of the bedside table. The timer function advertised is power off timer, not a 'I don't need to think about it, my bed is gonna be warm and cozy' timer. Also due to it being smart enough do do something its also too smart to be controlled by a smart plug powering it on at a certain time. The warm up time is glacially slow compared to our old blanket, be ready to start it up at least 1-2 hours before you think about going to bed.Dual plugs required, poorly optimized cable routing into the controllers, cheap and nasty clunky buttons from 80 era toys all scream 'I designed this product while I was on the toilet in a rush'. If they spared another 50 pence in materials the build would feel so much better, a small steel plate would add a robust weight to the controllers, a better designed control board would allow the timer function a little more functionality and a switch that doesn't belong on a speak-&-spell would be my first changes.TL:DR this was a disappointing downgrade on a decade old blanket I got for 15 quid, but technically is as advertised.

Does the job.
The controls are large, ugly clunky and appear to have to sit on your bedside table (and I kid you not, they are fugly) and weirdly set up... there is no quick warm up so if you forget to turn it on you have to wait to go to bed. The settings are not a natural progression, there is no light to indicate whether the blanket is on or not, you have to do this crazy push it on, wait, push mode, wait, push it on,,, oh yes, now you can set it to the required temperature... every blimmin' night.. no remembering that you like your feet area one degree hotter than your body.,.. this performance is every evening... not sure if mine is faulty or they made it to be the biggest pain the butt deliberately... will use till it dies and then get one that has proper dials.

Decide what properties you require in an electric blanket.
The bad points about this blanket is (I) it is very slow to warm up. It takes 20-30 minutes depending on the ambient temperature. It also has no timer or automatic shut-off thermostat which could make it dangerous for older people who may fall asleep with the blanket on, or it may inadvertently be left on for longer hours than necessary when not in use and this may be costly. The good points are (i) It is priced reasonably (ii) It's remote control is in a very good position and may be hung over the bedhead and is easy to reach. It has a good glow light indicating where the remote is in the dark.(iii) the elements which make up the blanket are generous in area and give a warm toasty warmth right down to the bottom of the bed which is good for tall people. (iv) the bed skirt holding the elements is so easy to put on the bed which is a vast improvement from all the strings and attachments on my other electric blankets. (v) it is good to have independent heat controls. Some blankets do not have this.

Is it faulty
I wondered if anyone could answer a question regarding this blanket as I am in discussion with the seller. When you turn the blanket on the heat setting automatically defaults to 5. Which in my opinion is too low. When you then manually alter the heat setting to 9 does it stay at 9 after powering off then powering back on. On mine. If u alter the setting to 9. Then turn it off. It then reverts the heat setting back to 5. So you then have to manually change it back again ! I feel this is a fault but would welcome any other comments

Extremely happy
We wanted a basic electric under blanket with no bells and whistles (we don’t need timers or schedules and dozens of different heat settings) and this fits the bill perfectly. Being the “fitted” type was a must too, as the tie down type tend to wander...Three simple heat settings 1, 2 or 3 and on or off - that’s all you need. Number 2 for me & 3 for my wife, perfect. You can feel the elements, but only if you search for them. In normal use you don’t notice them at all. The entire bed appears to warm up too, no signs of any cold spots.Customer service second to none, with follow up emails checking it had arrived in good order. So, all in all, extremely happy so far.

So cozy
Delivered on time. Good quality blanket, great fit on bed. Love the way it's like a mattress cover, easy to put on. Warms up very quick. Only one problem. As I work nights I wanted to put it on a timer so bed was warm when I come home in the mornings. It does not work on the timer, shame, but as it doesn't take long to warm up I can manage with that.

Great blanket, massive controls
Fits really snug to my king-size bed and warms up quickly on setting 9,takes about 15mins to get really toastie, the dual controls whilst absolutely massive are easy to use. Only reason not a five star is due to massive control boxes
