The unit arrived quickly as ordered and as a aesthetic fit it fits lovely in the dash of a B6 A4, there is a complete lack of information about wiring and also if any other adapters are needed (I think so to get the dash display to function) had to get a aerial adapter for the normal radio.A few things I am not happy with at the moment , no suppression in the unit so you get loads of noise from the speakers with the engine running and a pop when turning off or muting sound, so I’m pretty sure this will be fixed using a load suppression unit (but why should you have to on a 330 pound unit )Also (and yes I know its further down in the description but I only read the top part when I orderd) the unit is described as a NAV DAB+ but in orded to use these functions you have to purchase separate units I believe to complete the set up, and I. actually think this is a CON !!!! the initial description is misleading

Overall pleased with it, some good points and some bad points...Positive:- Looks like the stock head unit so pretty inconspicuous- Touchscreen works well, multi touch etc..- You can install any apps you like, I do like having Torque installed and using it with a bluetooth OBD to get extra data out of the car.- The shortcut button to go straight to Nav is useful.- Google maps works great... I just hotspot from my phone for live travel updates, though considering fitting a 4G dongle so I don't have to do that.- No error codes with it connected- Works with Bose amp and speakers (need to swap the connections though, see below)- Get the DAB unit, lots of stations to listen to and easy to rescan for more when you're in a different area (though needs to be a reasonably gfood signal as supplied aerial not great).- Phone calls are very clear and the built in microphone is great, people don't realise I'm driving at 70MPH (and a bit) while using this..!!Negatives:- It's a shame you can't change what some of the other buttons do so you can make them assignable to whatever apps you use most.- Works well, but doesn't link up to show the track details etc on the dash display, not a major problem for me.- One thing that's quite irritating is a whine I get from the engine through the speakers. I've fitted an in-line filter which helps reduce it to a barely noticeable level, but it's still there.- The big issue I have with this head unit is that it's designed to work with the Audi S4 (A4, etc..) but the connection for the antenna is unpowered and the Audi antenna needs power to work as it's an active antenna. I've tried a couple of adapters, but they really don't work well... It's a shame, but not the end of the world. I also got the DAB unit and that's great when there's a reasonable strength signal so reduces the need for FM signal.- Some of the options within the android operating system are missing... can't remember which ones I was after now, but a few useful functions have been removed under the Pumpkin OS- Would like to change the boot splash screen to Audi Logo, but can't do thisIf you're using the head unit with an amplifier...The head unit comes connected with the in-built amplifier outputs connected to the quadlock connector. this creates a really bad output to the amp. disconnect those and use the line out ones instead (RCA connections for both so just swap them over).I removed the speaker out box form the wiring loom as it was just more bulk behind the head unit that wasn't needed (open the black box and there's a plug on either side, I just disconnected the stereo side and remove the black box and RCA outputs).I would love to get rid of the RCA connectors and just connect the wires together, get rid of some of the bulk, for neatness, but really not necessary once all stowed inside the dash.

HiThe product arrived well packaged and will all cables and plugs required. Easily installed in my Audi A4 B6. Had one or two issues with radio reception and wi-fi connection. Contacted Pumpkin for assistance and all resolved. Great service with excellent engineering support. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered on Friday, arrived on Saturday. I have purchased one of these before from Pumpkin directly and it worked great. Still working fie on my BMW E46.Purchased this one for my Audi and I was not happy at all - I could hear the engine noise in the speakers. Followed every single instruction from the Pumpkin website, spent more money on "interference suppressor" but no luck.Unit was working fine but the engine buzzing in the speakers was extremely annoying + when turning lights ON or heating ON, another buzzing noise was added to the speakers on top of the engine one.I have sent the unit back as I have lost a weekend and another £50.00 to make this work. Again, the previous one for my Bimmer worked fine the first time. I believe this was a faulty unit.Will try my luck again and get one from Pumpkin directly.

This is a good unit, but could have been so much better.The lack of documentation covering the wiring, known issues (such as the rear speaker question), and operation of the unit itself, is a great pity. It also means that the supplier has to spend much more on customer service (which happily is very speedy and attentive).As other reviewers have said, this is a good unit if you are prepared to spend some time tweaking it.

Turned up on time good price but didn’t fit I have an Audi A4 TFSI and the unit was about 3mm to bigHowever there was no problem with returning it
