Thank Goodness! If you're reading this review you with have either lost the screw or ring that comes with the PS5 while installing a SSD. . . OOORrrrrr like me ya stripped the dang screw cause for some all that is holy reason the screw was so over tightened that not even the mighty Zeus could loosen it, causing it to get stripped. And while I am not comfortable yet pressing a tap and dye with a drill to get it out. I chose to purchase this. Thankfully it arrived in a day. Allowing me to install a recently purchased SSD into my PS5 with no brain surgery degree needed. After speeding the previous day cussing and cursing the stripped screw that not even my harsh language could have removed it. Highly recommend.

The screw that originally came with my ps5 was completely stuck to my system. So I ended up getting this and it worked like a charm. The screw fit nicely and the screw driver didn't deface the screw at all. Would recommend it 👌

Comes in very handy for when ur trying to make an upgrade on ur PS5 SSD, I definitely recommend adding this to ur list of things to do when upgrading.

This was exactly what I needed to install my SSD into my PS5 after I stripped the original screw that is already in the PS5 SSD slot for installation with only 2 tiny turns of my screwdriver :(Sony used a non-standard screw (I believe it’s a Japanese Phillips version which is just SLIGHTLY different than other Phillips screws around the world, the notches in it are smaller/there may be one additional notch so it’s 5 not 4 in the head) which is fine, Japanese based company, I fully expect them to use Japanese parts, but they should at least give us a heads up…Anyways! I stripped it, panicked because my SSD would not sit flush horizontally without it & I was not about to risk damaging my launch day PS5 that’s out of warranty over a screw OR breaking an expensive Samsung SSD.Ordered this & it worked like a charm. 10/10!I highly recommend the Samsung 990 PRO with Heatsink PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD for more PS5 internal storage BTW, super fast game load up times, speedy download times and gives you so much more space for games.Us Call of Duty players know how precious console space is when ever new COD takes up almost the entire system storage space with each new update :/Happy Gaming y’all!

Bought for my son so he can install additional memory for his ps5. It was perfect the screw fit perfectly

I bought this because I couldn't remove the original screw and spacer that came in the ps5. I bought this and I was able to install my SSD in less than 2 minutes. I highly recommend this if you ran into the same problem I did with the original M2 screw that came with the PS5 for whatever reason.
