Because of my thyroid issues, I have nail problems. I have tried regular biotin supplements but they did not help my nails at all. I then started taking BioSil, which contains orthosilicic acid, a form of silicon, & it helped but still was not enough. This stuff work great for hair shedding. I noticed within one day that my hair shedding slowed down significantly. I used to run my fingers through my hair and would have a bunch of hair on my fingers. My shower drain would be filled with hair after I'd wash my hair. I needed something to help expedite hair growth for some weddings I’ll be in next spring. I’ve used this for 1 month and I’ve already noticed such a difference. Of course, like all pills that are used for that purpose, be warned that it will make your hair grow faster everywhere. I looked up a lot of options before settling on this one and I’m glad it’s worked as well as it has. I plan to keep using it for the next few months.
