Awesome tent!!!
Perfect for winter camping, it retained heat, blocked the wind and kept me dry in the rain. The side folding up to make an awning is a really cool feature when it’s warm enough to open the tent up. It’s smaller than the summer tents I use when packed up and even came with the tent poles as a lot of tents don’t. The option to get this in solid black allows more heat to be attracted as well as making stealth camping easier. This tent was extremely easy to set up right away. I used this tent in 20 degree weather with 35 mph winds. With all the guy lines and tent pegs set the tent easily stood its ground. Perfect for one to two people.

Not without its issues.but a good buy
Fist of all, the zippers are a bit cheap( mine separated on the right awning side 3rd time out). I might be able to fix it but not completely sure...I (in my opinion) don't see this tent being completely waterproof, as I can see daylight through the seams at the post points....can perhaps seam tape ?? Not sure.

Good idea, but not what I thought I was getting
I finally got to use my new Pomoly Stove Hut Hot tent. I really wanted to like this tent. But I’m bumming I got this style and would not purchase again. Or recommend for a cpl specific reasons noted below.I chose it over the Locomotive version because I wanted the larger “porch” like area. I solo and enjoy relaxing with the open sides like my hiking tents and enjoyed the idea of still sitting outside if a light rain. The tents pretty straight forward to put up if you’ve done tents before. If you haven’t put up a free standing “A” frame, watch a video to shorten your learning curve to avoid frustration. There are no included instructions to put up. I got the poles with mine and also with a floor. There is a version no floor.Tents an A frame. So you have tight sides to deal with, know that going in.With stove in use, can sleep two, minimal to no gear space. Solo, plenty of space for yourself and gear.Stove vestibule is decent size. With stove in use, you’ll have some space for small stove sized wood. Enough space for a nights use of wood.Reason #1 why I won’t recommend.-The space between vestibule and tent is separated by screen door only. Same goes for the large front porch door. There is no fabric door closing off the vestibule or front. They only have screen doors. The front is “closed” off using the porch top by zippers down the sides to protect edges from wind/rain.Reason #2The front large porch roof/door zips down the sides to close off the edges. But by design, doesn’t go completely to the ground. It sits a few inches off the ground, full length of tent. The same design with the vestibule where it’s open from ground to vestibule about 2 to 3 inches around the entire stove area. The open edges would be fine if you had fabric doors for the front and vestibule end of tent. As a result though of no fabric doors closing the Porch and vestibule, I had a constant breeze. Great for summer I’m sure, but it was 20deg. I had good heat from my stove but gusts would push through for a terrible chill.I wanted, and thought, this would function as a cold weather tent. I don’t always camp with snow to cover the edges but it’s still crazy cold. And I don’t always use my stove while camping in the cold to fight off the breeze. It rained hard for awhile and I did stay dry. With those issues though, I don’t like the tent as I won’t be able to use as I’d intended and expected to be able to.There is nothing that I can find that identifies these screen doors only for the front and vestibule end.Pomoly should be way more clear about this, had I known I would not have purchased this style. On a positive note, if you don’t mind that the tent doesn’t close fully with fabric doors at each entrance, it will work great for you.It is a cool idea, but those drawbacks are a certain bummer for me.

Awesome Hot Tent, Even Better Company
This Tent is great, it’s perfect for solo or even double winter camping. Pomoly on the other hand, is an excellent example of a company. Give these people your money. I had a small issue that wasn’t even pomolys fault and they took care of it quickly and professionally. Thanks!

Not bad
It's a good tent but u would need a smaller stove for cold weather. Fits my wife me and our dog snug. Not sure about rain but heavy winds it's a champ. Roughly 20mph winds on top of a mountain.

Love it!
Two things that could be improved: better zipper system ( they snag too easy ), and it doesn't come with instructions.

No instructions included, not intuitive design
No instructions in the box, not an intuitive design. Tore the tent in the first setup. Will not purchase any additional Pomoly products.Likely returning this item.Very disappointed as Ive been contemplating this purchase for a full year.

Good for use if in need of quick shelter, but the dew rained down on me every morning
I had high hopes for this tent, as I took it while backpacking and camping throughout Yosemite. Quick and easy to put up with all the stakes and line to make it nice and tight, but every morning had the morning dew dripping down on me on both sides. I even bought some water repellant and sprayed a couple layers on, but it did nothing. Would not recommend
