Can anyone comment on manufacturer recommendation for low/med heat v. traditional recipe/wok cooking requiring high heat (that will damage pan int)

I find that you will achieve the same result without cooking on high heat. I use med-high heat, but start out on low/med. I cannot say high heat would damage it, but as I said I get the same result without cooking in high. I would imagine the coating and evenly distributed heat might have something to do with that recommendation. If you don't already know, this wok is not as light weight at a traditional wok.
