It says IP44 waterproof. The configurator is waterproof but the plug isn't. It's better to move it inside when heavy rains. In this way, you can also extend the life time of the lighted willow tree.

A pretty willow style lighted tree

I'll tell you the biggest disappointment I had with this tree - the strands that hang that do not have obvious lights, I thought might be EL wire and I thought, wow, this tree is going to be SO cool with both the "branches" with little LED bulbs built in, but the glowing EL wire...boy was I disappointed when I finally plugged it in and realized that those non-bulb strands are just that, strands of whatever that material is. Now don't get me wrong, I do like the tree when lit up, but was just majorly disappointed that it had all the "inert" strands that do nothing. I have another weeping willow that is smaller. It has these plastic, crystal-looking pieces that have the LED lights in them on the weeping branches and they wink. Of the two, I actually prefer the crystal willow because the lights make all the branches look impressive. This one, the branches that have lights are cool...the plain strands just don't add anything in my opinion.

Hmmm... I guess I expected more...

Hmmm... I guess I expected more...This was picked up for a big event coming up later this year. It does work well, the remote works nicely too.The quality of the item is also ok. The lights look nice and it lights up the room.The main reason for the 3 stars is the cheap fishing line and even after spending lots of time "posing" the branches, its just not right.If you want a cool light for a room permanently or for a party this gets the job done, but I did expect more for the price.
