Q: HI we have purchased a 15l halo biorb and we got the normal heater..but on the halo there does not sem to be a cutout to feed the heater through?!

Not sure that this tank is designed for use with a heater - think it's for temperate fish? They should be able to tell you at the shop where you bought it.

Q: red light came on at first but is now off, water feels cold. Does no red flashing light mean it's not working> yellow light is on.

Check with a thermometer if you're not sure - the green light should mean it's on and the set temperature isn't very high so I wouldn't expect it to feel particularly warm. My tank is a 30l and the water doesn't feel cold, but not warm either. I get a constant green light and the red flashes on for a second every few seconds. Biorb customer support are really helpful, I would message them if you check the temp and it's not 24.5

Red light should mean power is on, green light flashes to indicate temperature maintained I think. If no green light flashing then may be faulty? The biorb customer care team would be able to help more.Sorry to hear about your fish.
