I guessed on what strength to get after trying some on at a drug store. I got 2.0 when I found out when I had my eyes checked that 2.75 would have been better; however, I still wear them when working in my yard just to keep from scratching my new prescription lenses. The 2 for $10 frames look just as nice as the $100 minimum ones at the optician's office, and you can't beat the price.

Astounding how non prescription can give me perfect vision.

Ordered these to use for when I do not want to compromise my prescription glasses. They work fine for this price point. I am unable to walk if I am wearing/using standard readers. These I can walk with (I wouldn't do a 5K in them). They are not the quality of my prescription glasses, and I am not sure how long they will last or how easily they may scratch, but they are a fine alternative for using in a library, or at work... places that I might put them on then take them off and misplace them, and/or in situations in which glasses could be exposed to sand or other abrasive situations.They work.Feel like they will not fall apart after only a couple of uses.Inexpensive, secondary solution.

Not a good as advertised

Works just as well as my $400 Warby Parker progressive glasses.They look nice and are comfortable. Definitely a great value for having a spare pair of glasses. I had cataract surgery in both eyes so these have been a huge help at work when using my computer. Wish they came in more colors.

Hopefully this review will be helpful to someone else in my situation. I recently had LAZIK eye surgery and as LASIK is intended, it only corrects your far vision. 3 weeks after surgery I found myself needing readers to see up close. It was bothersome to constantly take on and off the readers every time I wanted to check a text message, look away from my computer screen, etc. I bought an expensive pair of Burberry progressive readers from Readinghlasses.com, but the reader part of the lens was so low and so small that I still couldn’t read print unless I tilted my head back in an uncomfortable position.I purchased these progressive computer readers in a 1 power and they are exactly what I needed. I will probably need to order a +1.5 in a few months, but the +1 works fine for now. I was a +3 prior to surgery.The lens do have a glare, but it doesn’t bother me that much and I am just grateful I found a pair of glasses that work. The metal frame is a black matte color and the glasses are extremely light weight. I will definitely purchase again if I need to.
