Petlibro cordless water fountain - incredibly quiet!
Excellent product! I purchased this water fountain to replace an existing one because I needed something cordless and more sturdy than what I had. This Petlibro water fountain is battery operated, so no more issues with cats chewing on the cord. It is incredibly quiet!!! It has two clips/snaps on the side that secure the water basin when the cats are trying to play in the water; this solved a previous problem I had, so very pleased with this feature. Stainless steel water basin, easy to clean and to install. Great water capacity and filtering system. Overall a great product and I would highly recommend it.

Always leave a backup water source just in case…
Why did you pick this product vs others?:After 6 months of use I have had no issues or complaints and I am happy with this purchase. I was originally worried about the durability and the cost of the replacement filters but I appreciate how much easier this is to clean in the sink and fill without making a mess. The water pump is very easy to disassemble and can be cleaned internally with a sponge. I noticed the water pump will usually stop working if the filter becomes visibly dirty or discolored which is always around two weeks of shared use by 3 cats. The one problem I see is that there’s no way for the cats to access the water if the power goes out because the lid is clamped down and impossible for a cat to break through. The water doesn’t seem to flow when power is restored after a power outage and I’ve had to thoroughly clean the pump and replace the filters to get it work again. Always leave a backup water source just in case.

It recirculates water, but that's about it.
I'm editing this review to 1 star. Everything below still applies, but I have new details to add.First off, my unit was purchased December 7th and less than 6 months later it does not run unless plugged in. It's supposed to charge and run for "up to" 30 days on a charge. As soon as mine is unplugged it shuts off.Second, I am ALWAYS finding water on the base under the bowl. Every time I lift it, which is usually only once a week to clean it (yea, you get to clean it once a week AND buy filters that have to be constantly replaced), I find water there, and enough that I have to dry it up before putting the bowl back on. I don't know how it gets there, but it does.Third, and probably most important, the metal around the hole where the waterspout attaches to is EXTREMELY sharp. I didn't even know some of those parts came off and had been cleaning around them, until today when I noticed they were loose, so I took them all the way off. As soon as I began to clean around that center part, I sliced open my finger and bled the whole rest of the time I was cleaning the bowl and all the detachable parts. And I had just started cleaning it.The rest of my original review is below.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Putting the instructions IN the machine instead of in the box was troublesome for me having to figure out how to open it to get to the instructions. Then the instructions are written in such small print and so poorly that I basically just had to figure out how to put it together on my own. But it’s up and running now and seems to work just fine. The cats have used it and seem to like it. I guess we’ll see how that goes.Another design flaw is the power button on the bottom of the base. Once it’s set up and full of water, it’s a pain to have to try to get to that power button without spilling water, and without removing the top from the base. Also, a clear container would be helpful, so I know how low the water is. It's annoying see no water coming from it and the little red "empty" light blinking. If it was clear, I could see it was getting low and add to it before my cats are totally out of water. It is very quiet though; I’ll give it that. And it seems like it’ll be easy to clean.I’ll update in a few days with more if anything changes.

My cats love this!
I like this water fountain and so do my cats! It looks nice and works very well. When the water gets low, it makes a trickling sound which I find super irritating. Some of the small parts are not the easiest to clean. Overall, it’s better than a standard water bowl. I’ve actually purchased this twice because my first one got gunked up from hard water which isn’t any fault of the water fountain. I just felt like I needed a new one. I purchase off brand filters because the brand ones are expensive and they work just fine.

Best kitty fountain! #catlove
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My babies love this water dish and so do I. I can tell it is keeping them healthy by getting them to consistently drink water. They get excited when I pick it up to fill it and immediately start drinking from it when I set it back down. I love that you can charge it up and set it somewhere else for awhile and it will run without being plugged in. The battery doesn't last extremely long but it is also not difficult to charge it and is still usable while its charging. The filters get dirty really quick, so just keep that in mind that you will be replacing them frequently - but that's good because your cat isn't consuming all of that junk that's being filtered out. Very happy with this product and so are my cats.Noise level:very quietBattery life:Decent Cat love:They loveeee it Fountain quality:well made Design:sleek and innovative Functionality:very good
