The media could not be loaded. I have to say I'm astounded with this 6 in 1 machine. Normally when a company takes it upon themselves to combine functionality in one unit, one or more functions are compromised in some way. Not in this case. The power is more than enough to run the waterfall and fountain and filter the water. I have a problem with algae bloom every year because the pond sits in full sun most of the morning. However, after only 4 days my pond is crystal clear. It has never been this clean! I went and treated myself to 2 more goldfish and they love it. Now the fish are playing under the waterfall everyday and the love the fountain too, you can just tell with how they all sit under it! I also wanted to mention that this seller replaced my whole unit immediately when I said I had a problem with the fountain. I only needed a replacement waterfall but a whole unit came the next day and I had a month to return the broken unit. Well I'd already attached plugs and put it in the pond so I left it there, replaced the waterfall and popped the broken part in with the newly sent machine and popped it back to the post office, postage paid I might add. So impressed with the customer service, exceptional machine and exceptional service. Highly recommend. Seriously get rid of those cumbersome filter boxes, you really don't need them!

When assembled it’s a little awkward to reintroduce into my pond which is 1.3m deepIt would be useful to have a separate light control so as not to leave it on overnight the only solution would be to fit a timer which is not always possibleVery well made and versatile but for me the light switch would be useful

It's been 4 years since I brought this filter, so I can say it's rubbish. I had a 3000, a 6000 and then this one (9000), at one time I had all three going and they couldn't keep the water clear ( 1400 Litre pond with 12 medium /carpKoi ). The lamps kept failing, the pumps and filters needed constant attention. I have since brought a sealed filter system ( you can spin the filters to flush them) which is so impressive - never going back to Blagdons.

Having originally had Hozelock in-pond pumps which resulted in repeatedly failing UV units, resulting in at least 3 of these pumps being replaced and numerous expensive UV bulbs purchased, I changed to a Blagdon 9000. I immediately saw the difference in quality when taking it out of the box. The filter, UV and pump set up are completely different and to my mind, seemed a better build quality.The assembly was straight forward but I did double check the various YouTube tips available. The pump and UV went to work immediately and clarity was noticable after a few hours and I could finally see the bottom of the pond by the next morning. The fish seemed to enjoy seeing further than 2 inches for the first time in a while!

The media could not be loaded. 3m x 3m pond 80cm deep. Has been in for over a month now and water is clear and the pump and filter do a fantastic job. Required electrician to instal the electrics to a remote switch but filter etc v easy to clean and maintain

Our pond was very dirty and you couldn't see the bottom of it at all, even though it's only 18" deep.2 weeks on the water is clear and the bottom is visible again, and so are the fish!I have needed to take out and the filters and clean them every other day for the past 2 weeks as at present as there is still a lot of muck at the bottom of the pond. However it's been worth it. Hopefully after another couple of weeks, I won't need to clean the filters so often.They are pretty easy to clean with a hosepipe and in this dry weather I hold the filters over the flower bed I want to water and just spray them till they are clean. So no wasted water either. Win Win situation.
