Its there, but not as much Wattage as they claim
I checked a number of resources on wire gauge vs amp ratings ect and I really think the wire sizes that are being used are under the rated capacity of what is advertised. Im really not sure if I can give a full 5 stars but I can give an honest 4 stars with explanation. This wiring harness can easily be fixed to protect the wires from shorting by adding a smaller fuse than what is provided with the product. The relay is massively over sized at 40A, which is a good thing but the fuse is over sized beyond the wire gauge used, which is a bad thing but is very easily changed. It comes with a 30A fuse and I think 15A would be he biggest. The simple math on it is pretty easy. If they are saying it will do 180W, then its 180W/12V = 15A. The main power wires that have been used in the harness are 16ga and after looking a few places on DC wire gauge vs Amps really 16ga stranded copper wire should not exceed 15A. As advertised with the harness showing the two 18W spot lights, those only need 3A. In the advertised scenerio, this harness is built well above demand. If somebody throws one of these 54 inch roof top lights on it, its going to short out the wires, burning them up. I will be putting a 120W on it and will put a 10A fuse to match the light.

Not laid out well.
As I have wired in several sets of auxiliary lights in the past I came across this kit and was definitely excited. Looks good and it comes with 3 of the key items for wiring a set of lights. In less than 5 minutes of opening the wiring harness kit I saw something wasn’t right. There was no trigger switch wire, the trigger switch wire was wired with the power source coming in. Grounds were crossed. I will be using the kit as I have already unboxed one and rewirded it. Im not sure if it is good for just a light or a winch, but it will not suit for a car/truck. No way for it to turn off with the rest of your vehicle. Happy trails.

This simplifies your light installation
I got this to install the AutoSonic light light bar. Normally when I install lights I just piece together all the parts. This kit was cheaper for me than to buy everything individually so I gave it a shot.Overall it’s nice to have everything ready to go. As some other have pointined out some of the wires are on the shorter side. This wasn’t a problem for me as I had some wire on hand and just extended them to the length I needed. The parts all seem to be decent quality. I could see how the people who are confused with relays would really benifit from this as it takes virtually all the required knowledge of electronics out of the way.In summary, I’m happy I bought it, I felt it was worth what I paid, and would buy another one the next time I need to install lights.

Great quality for a fair price...
When I received this harness I thought most of the wires were too short for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. When I started installing I found it was just about right and only the wire to the switch came up a little short. I did order a 2nd harness to use as a patch because the price on these is so low you can't even buy wire instead...The quality of all the components was very good. This one is a great deal!

Bought one of each: single & dual - Excellent - reminder that LEDs are voltage polarized
Very nice, end connectors are insulated. I like the fact that can drill round holes for switch mounting. Tested both sets and work fine. Just a reminder that LED lights are voltage polarized. Meaning if you hear the relay click and light doesn't come on, try reversing polarity at the LED light end of the connection. Wrong LED light polarity won't damage the lights, they just won't come ON.

A great value. I used it to add lights to ...
A great value. I used it to add lights to my new John Deere ZTR mower. The only hole I had to drill was for the switch, and that was a piece of cake with a step drill. Watch out for the key slot on the switch to keep the switch from moving around. Cut that slot in with a razor knife or small file and not drill a hole too large. You should replace the included fuse with the appropriate size for your application.

Look elsewhere
My biggest gripe with this harness is they used aluminum wire instead of copper. I’m not a big fan of aluminum wire. If I would have know this I would have spent a little more and purchased one with copper. The bad part is I couldn’t return it because I didn’t find out they used aluminum until I cut one of the wires to shorten it. Other than that the switch works great and the rest of it seems to be working as designed.

Pretty good for the price
I only got this because I didn’t wanna have to chose the relay and fuse. Once I got it I noticed that the wires that go to my light bar are long but the ones for the on/off switch are fairly short. Nothing that bothered me at all about it all I did was add some extra wire on the same gauge to make them longer it seems to be very good quality though you can always replace the switch if you want to. It’s only held on by the female connections.
