I bought this for our new baby grandson as my own children loved the Elmer books and I aim to get him those as he gets older. It is a soft but smooth fabric with no 'fluff' to get sucked into little mouths. The best feature for young babies is the bold colour and pattern. It draws the focus of the baby more than his other soft toys and is the perfect size for little hands to pick up. I was a little disappointed with the packaging which was just a plain plastic bag, but in hindsight it really doesn't matter as Elmer himself is good quality and the packaging was always destined for the bin. My grandson and I are really pleased with it.

This was a present and proved a great success. It’s very bright and cheerful with a great facial expression. The smaller size was the only one available at the time of purchase, but that is quite large enough really. Obviously for the age range it is aimed at it can’t have beads or similar for eyes, but it would have been absolutely perfect had the eyes been more clearly defined – they have slightly fuzzy lines. But overall, no complaints at all.

Elmer is beautifully made. Bought it for my wife who is now in a nursing home, Elmer has always been one of her favourite children's soft toys.

Got this for my Grandson to go with his book.Great size too.

Smaller than I expected but still good old fashioned Elmer :) not opened since my son hasn't been born yet.About the size of an average ladies hand.

I got this for my sister who is 3 years old! We are reading elmer books to her and she loves holding elmer while listening!

My granddaughter loves it..it was bigger than expected and lovely vibrant colours.
