I put some lucky bamboo with gravel in these and placed them on the back of my aquarium. They have grown well and the roots have extended well from the holes in the holder. These were affordable and seem durable. Definitely recommend for your aquarium.

Only issue for me is the suction cups do not fit tightly. They easily pull out.

Great! The suction cups have been holding with no problems and the size is perfect for a very good amount of roots. It looks great in the tank almost not even noticeable. My Pothos plants are thriving and loving these, keeps the Oscar’s away from the roots. No complaints will be ordering more soon!!!

The product itself works but the design of it could be a lot better. The planters are quiet deep so any small plants you would have to rig to keep from sinking into the tank. The hanging element doesn't quiet fit over a rimmed aquarium but it does come with suction cups that sort of suffice. Although that doesn't help with the deep planters. Overall its a decent product and would work with larger plants!

At first, I used them to hold plants. Little did I know, they would be a home for my shrimps!

The range of side clips slow level hanging from the rim of any smaller tank, and for larger and thicker framed tanks like my 75 where the clips can’t reach over the edge, the suction cups don’t let go even after multiple months. They aren’t overly intrusive in the tank and are also great for protecting roots of out of tank plants from nibbling goldfish
