Works really well and great value for money
Great value for money and works really well. I got this one as an additional extra help to my large 5l dehumidifier version as the big one is just too noisy to run during the night when the electricity is cheaper. Very pleased with the purchase. It collect moisture really well despite a small sized fan and can be placed high up where the moisture is higher. It's about the size of a juice box and fits pretty much in any location like windowsillbor top of the shelves to stay out of the way. It runs from mains and the lead is reasonably long so reaches anywhere. Very easy to operate - just one button. The container is easy to take out and is spill proof. The fan is very quiet, so doesn't bother anyone's sleep at night. It collects about half of the container box overnight in our "mould problem" room. Switches off automatically when full. It uses hardly any energy, so very efficient too. Recommended to anyone who has mould/moisture problems.

Compact, quite and does it's job
This is my first dehumidifier and based on my initial impression - it is very good.I was always very sceptical of a those small boxes that have some humidity absorbent in them, so wanted to buy a proper - powered by mains.- This dehumidifier is very compact - can literally fit on a shelf.- It is quite - not totally silent, as it needs to blow out / suck in the air, so bear that in mind if you are a light sleeper and wish to keep it running overnight- Emptying and cleaning the container is very simple, especially because a manual gives precise directions on how to do thatSo to the main question - does it actually work? Well, from my brief experience - it does! It managed to drain few drops of water in minutes from a room where it was placed (probably would do more i if the room would be humid - but hey ho, what can you do, it's dry and sunny for a change in the UK)

Very quiet and efficient
I wanted to write an update on my earlier review, as I am very pleased with these dehumidifiers, and have now been using them for 3 months. I found the easiest way for myself to empty them was to place a wide jug next to the dehumidifier, turn the switch on the top to off, take out the small water container and pour it into the jug. Then replace it, switch back on and all done. I can carry the jug more easily with no spillage and empty it into the sink. When I first had the dehumidifiers on, they were each collecting about 600ml over about 5 days, but now they take nearly 2 weeks to collect the same amount of water, so I can tell that there is now less water in the atmosphere, and that they are working well. They are still very quiet in each of the rooms that I have them, and I don't notice that they are there, except when I check whether the light on the switch is still green, or amber which is when full and needs emptying.I am very pleased that I bought these and would recommend them.

Good for the money.
This little humidifier does an amazing job, small enough not to notice it, nice and quite, easy to use however why have a glowing green light...?I leave it on at night it looks like aliens are visiting...?!! Wish I could turn the light off.

Quiet, efficient,simple.
The unit works... That's for sure. I have an under stairs (walk in size) cupboard in a 120 year old house that is damp and smells musty. I was horrified to see my leather shoes getting a fine green mould on them! I bought this unit and after initially thinking it is so small that it would not do anything, I changed my mind over the next couple of days. It had collected around 400mls of water and the smell had reduced a little. Its now been around a week and I empty it every couple of days and the smell nearly gone. It's very quiet and discreet and electric consumption is pennies daily. I feel confident it's doing a good job. There are bigger and better models of course, but for a smallish area it does the trick. On another note of someone's review on it being flawed because it has an electronic switch and can't use a timer or smart swith with the unit: this is not a flaw, most electronics these days use this style of swith and can't be used with a smart swith and timer, this is why some units have a timer built in.

Pointless disposeable junk
Technically it does remove water from the air, but at such a low rate that it makes no difference to humidity. I have an air quality monitor, and having this dehumidifier running does not change the humidity. 70% when I turn it on, and it stays at that level the entire time.Boiling a kettle once puts more moisture into the air in 1 minute than this dehumidifier is capable of removing in 24 hours.About a year after I bought it, it broke. It had been making a noise sometimes, as if the moving parts were hitting something, and now when I turn it on, the light comes on and then a second later it turns off again. It won't stay on any more.

Compact and does the job
Seems to be doing the job as you can see the water filling up the tank. Size is ideal to tuck it away in the corner of the room. Assuming being summer outside, moist isn’t a great deal currently thus the water is filling up slowly, but probably will see more benefit when it starts raining or in winter. Noise doesn’t bother and easy to empty the tanker. Overall not complicated; just plug it in, turn the button and leave until it fills up, as it turns off automatically. Useful to tackle mould, to prevent lung diseases, respiratory issues, asthma, eczema and corrosion to the walls. Happy and would recommend.

Ineffective
This really doesn't do what is says it's going to do. It's tiny, and not powerful at all. I put in a smallish bedroom with two relatively large windows, both that get covered in condensation overnight. I left this on overnight thinking it would get some of the water, it took a teeny tiny bit of water in its very small water compartment, absolutely not 300ml as advertised. Left it on all day too, and when I came back there was still water on the windows from the morning. So from a functionality perspective, it's pretty useless. In terms of easy of use, it's very simple to use, looks better than the more effective machines, but in general I wouldn't recommend.
