Daylight Company D35027 Freedom Battery Lamp LED, Silver [Energy Class A]

I am very poorly sighted and have tried various types of lights to sit beside my PC. This is the best, a simple flit up of the front and it lights, nice and brightly, too. A no fuss, no bother unit that is not obtrusive.

Initially would not work just with battery but ok with lead in place. Removed battery cover and found a connection loose on battery , refitted connector checked and all working well. Had it worked properly straight from box would have been 5star, should have been fully checked before sale as not everyone will have means of removing battery cover

takes up too much space on a bridge card table

My husband wanted a lamp to replace his old one. It was ridiculously expensive so I expected it at least to work properly. The promotion photo shows it working with the light at 90 degrees to the base, but in fact it won't stay like that but drops closed immediately. My husband is going to use duct tape to keep it open when he is using it, but he shouldn't need duct tape to make such an expensive lamp work as intended.

Easy to use anywhere bought this for my 92yeat old mother who found it very helpful

This is a very bright lamp and, being rechargeable. there is no obtrusive cable when in use.This is the third one that I have purchased for my partially-sighted mother-in-law who has difficulty seeing her food. For brightness we have discovered nothing comparable.BUT ... despite its weight and sturdy construction, she accidentally knocked over the previous two causing irreparable damage, so clearly supervision is required.

Perfect for my needs

I keep buying these lamps and have about five now. Ideal for inspection and close work within the warehouse where power points are a problem.
