Fantastic...... For my dad in long term care. Has a tendency to scratch his head to the point of bleeding while he's sleeping. Great product, he can scratch without causing abrasions to his head

Does what it's supposed to with regards to restraining and keeping the fingers in place. However, this product does not prevent the person from scratching themselves. They can still bend at the wrist and scratch with the top of the glove. Because there is no padding and a zipper there the scratches are even worst. Has caused unintentional cuts on caregivers arm. Not recommended for dementia patients that scratch.

My hands are about 6.5" long and these mittens are for hands that are ideally less than 4.5". Plus don't expect to be able to lay a hand fully flat inside the mitten unless the person who is being restrained is small, like child size small. The length of the strap from the mittens were short as well. Overall I have to give this a low rating unless you need to work with children in which case this might be the perfect solution.

These have been so helpful. They are easy to put on and take off.
