Power Surface Grinding Dust Shroud for Angle Grinder 115mm / 125mm 4/4.5/5 inch Universal Surface Grinding Shroud (125MM)

Used it on off brand grinder with 4 inch concrete grinding cup, shop vac attached just fine, cut dust to almost nothing, had enough adapters to mount with no problems.

I don’t usually write reviews but: I am usually pretty hesitant purchasing “universal fit” stuff but gave this a try for my Makita grinder. Surprisingly, it fit well with the included adapter collar. Build quality is good and does what it claims to do. You will have to come up with a way to connect your shop vac to it though- take a trip to Lowes or HD and you will find a step down adapter in the shop vac dept that worked well with the help of some duct tape. The dust collection this provided was impressive and I can’t imagine surface grinding concrete without it. It easily collected 90-95 percent of the dust generated. Well worth the money.

Only dislike is the removable edge should have a hinge. Otherwise this worked great at keeping the dust down while prepping wood and concrete flooring.

Just cheap feeling broke the flip up part before I ever used it that being said worked decently when I did use it as far as dust collection

I had to grind a concrete crack patch on patio floor and this product worked well cutting 90 % of the dust.The hose adapter did not fit shop-vac correctly but I MacGyvered it with duct tap which worked out fine..

The adapters do not with small ship vacs, regardless of the brand. Only way to get it to work is with duct tape.

Initially, the dust shroud was keeping up with the grinder. However, it began to loosen up and came apart. Overall, it's a poor quality item and it will not last long until it breaks down. I was able to finish my project by pressing down on the shroud in order for it to function properly. This product is not durable and unfortunately will not recommend this item. I should've spent more money for a better and durable product.

I have not used this item yet but everything in the package is identical to the pictures and it's also pretty self explanatory as far as installation goes. The grinder I bought this product for is a Porter Cable 4.5 and it fits flawlessly and is very snug ,it also has an adjustable screw and 3 adapters. This product seems like it would work very well, time will tell and I will probably update this review after use.
