A lot of new characters and new items to make every game feel different if you've played a lot with the base cards. I recommend it without a doubt.

The art on the tainted character cards is super cool and it's awesome that this is available on Amazon if you're late to the party and missed the Kickstarter last year.

I got this to have more content for the base Binding of Isaac game. If you liked the base game you will like this. Quality of components is comparable to the base game.

Thought this would be a fun game to play, but I didn't realize that this was an expansion to the main game, which is not included in this bundle. It seems like a pretty expansive expansion for the price.

The expansion pack is NOT the game itself, and is meant to add to the original game. The expert in this game told me when they bought a deluxe edition of it, it CAME with the expansion pack already, so this addition was superfluous! So, be warned, if you're giving this as a gift, make sure it's supplementing a set that doesn't already include it. I can't speak to the game itself, but for fans of the VIDEO GAME, from which this card game is a spin-off, it's a fun addition to the Isaac universe.

In a household full of gamers this one was a no Brainer. My son has sunk hundreds of hours into the video game and already had the base set for this as well. He loves it and all the stuff is great quality. The learning curve is a bit of a struggle at first but he had it figured out in no time! It is a great game and has everything you'd expect from a BOI spinoff. Don't think twice if you're a fan of isaac... YOU NEED THIS!
