Poor Fit, Comfortable Material
Note: I ended up returning these compression socks due to a poor fit, so I do not know how well they work with long-term (or even a day's worth) wear.Pros:- The material used for these compression socks was quite comfortable, almost like a thick nylon. With this material, there is no doubt in my mind that these could be worn in the office place or any other professional setting in which you would typically wear nylons. Due to the poor fit on my feet, however, I wouldn't be able to tell you how they help your feet/legs feel after a day's worth of wear.Cons:- These compression socks did not fit me right! Maybe it's because I have short legs. The top of the sock came exactly to the crease of my knee, which was quite uncomfortable. They may have worked if they were an inch or two longer or shorter. Since they are compression socks, however, I didn't want to mess around with extra stretching (to make them come above my knee) or folding (so they end below my knee).- The compression does not encompass the entire foot. Instead, there is compression covering the majority of the foot but not the toe, leaving a strange "pouch" around my toes. I do not know how this would affect the compression of the socks.- The stitching around the toe area of the sock was uncomfortable. Instead of stitching over the top of the foot like most socks do, these were stitched awkwardly across the front of the toe area.

highly recommend!
These are amazing!Cons/Considerations: They are small, in that I wear a size 6 women's shoe, and I'm wearing the medium. They're very tight to get off, but they're compression socks, so that is to be expected! I'm also very short (5'3"), so the leg of the stocking is a bit long for me, but it's easy to distribute it over the rest of my calf without any discomfort or irritation. Also, since the material is so thick, the seam in the toe is a bit annoying when I first put it on, but I don't notice it once I put on my shoes or start doing other things.Pros/Gushing: Really, they're amazing! Even at just 16 weeks pregnant, my feet and calves have been swollen and uncomfortable at the slightest provocation. With these stockings (which really are thick stockings, not cottonish socks), I was able to walk around downtown for 6 hours for an event this weekend (6 miles, when all was finished) with almost no pain or swelling in my calves and feet! It was magical. I highly recommend them.

A little uncomfortable, but effective
I bought these in preparation for a long trip a few weeks ago. Although I had them with me in my carryon, for some reason I didn't wear them on the way to my destination (two 10-hour flights one day apart), and my feet were swollen for five days. I learned my lesson and wore them on the return flights (15 hours in one day) and they definitely did the trick and kept my ankles and feet from swelling up as they had before. They were a little uncomfortable - tight at the top of the calf - but that was a small price to pay for the result.

Does the job!
This is my second pair. I am a nurse and I'm on my feet for 8-10 hours a day. So this support really does make a difference at the end of my 12 hr shift. At first I didn't like these so much because it's not soft like many cotton blends. Actually, my favorite compression stockings are made by Juzo, but those rip easily from the top after having to pull them up a few times a day. So after having to replace one after another, it started to get really expensive. These do the job, they're half the price, and last way longer.

since my legs and feet swell when I travel like that. They are easy to get on
I got these socks before a long plane flight, since my legs and feet swell when I travel like that. They are easy to get on, comfortable for a whole day and did help my feet. I think it may have been even better to get the 20/30mm, as I did still have some swelling.

Lot of bang for your buck
Wow!I didn't trust this would work because of the reasonable price, but I LOVE them. For a low price compression sock, they really get the job done.I bought them for pregnancy related swelling and foot pain, and those things were both solved. What I didn't expect, is the awesome increase of energy I received. I reorganized my whole closet with my new found energy. Bonus!I don't love that I have to hand wash them- but it's worth it.

Not gradual
I am a thin woman that is athletic. I have a calf circumference of 14...so not that large. I ordered the medium. the socks are tight all the way up my leg and very tight around the top of my calf. I may need to get something else because I'm worried about restricting the return blood flow below my knee. I was hoping the gradual compression was accurate.

Helped with swollen ankle issue
Slightly difficult to put on but this may be because of my somewhat impaired flexibility as a result of hip surgery. Once on they are comfortable and helped with a swollen ankle problem. Easy to rinse out by hand and dried very quickly.
