I purchased this for use by my 5yo. It is a full sized bag with very nice details. The material of the bag feels high quality, zipper on the bag and lunch box feel durable and the pencil case is a little bigger than I expected. The material of the bag is a canvas fabric, but the fox decor consist of a plush and faux leather type of fabric. The side pockets are very deep so she is able to carry a full sized water bottle without fear that it will fall out. The lunch box is the same material as the backpack. My daughter loves this bag. My only complaint is that the buckles to attach the lunch box to the front of the backpack does not work. The buckles do not fully clip together so you have to hand carry the lunch box or store inside the backpack.
