All-in-one docking solution
I purchase all of the endpoint IT equipment for employees in my company and I started buying these for all new employees. I first bought one for myself early 2020 before the pandemic so I can more easily dock my work laptop on the few days I did work from home, while allowing me to easily switch to my gaming desktop when I was done for the day. Obviously, this setup ended up getting a lot more use.I started buying these at work in lieu of buying both docking stations and multi-monitors for our laptop users (I buy all endpoint devices for employees where I work) and have been great. We must have bought at least 30 or so in the year I first bought my own for personal use. They work great as docks because you can use the USB-C cable in tandem with Display Port daisy chaining to run two Display Port monitors off of the one cable and charge the laptop at the same time. The USB ports also allow me to plug in a keyboard, mouse, and USB network adapter, and other USB peripherals to the monitor, completing the docking solution.I highly recommend it as you can easily save about $200 for each workstation buy not buying a separate dock plus it's more stable and works better than most docking stations we've tried.

Works very well as MacBook Pro USB-C Doc
I purchased this to go with my 2017 macbook pro model. I wanted it because of the USB-C video input and advertised USB-C charging. I wanted a replacement item for my Thunderbolt 2 monitor that I used with my old macbook laptop. This has so far performed exactly as advertised. I have one cable going from my laptop to my monitor, EXACTLY what I wanted. Easy one cable to unplug when I go mobile. I plug in all of my USB accessories into the monitor and use it like a hub. One thing to note. I could not use the provided charging cable from apple, I had to use the included USB-C cable provided with the monitor, not an issue from me. If anything a bonus considering how pricy these cables are. When you set this up .initially with your macbook make sure to set the audio settings correctly. My macbook identified the monitor as a audio output, I needed to change that back to the laptop.

Great Monitor for MacBook
Great Monitor for MacBook, it will charge your laptop and add USB ports, kind of a docking station. Love that just one cable running to your Mac.

Overall good monitor for Macbook Pro
I use this monitor for my Macbook Pro (2018), which makes the USB-C input a key feature. The fact that is also operates as a USB hub means I don't have to plug additional cables into the Macbook. The video quality is great, so it does most of what I expect. The monitor has no problem keeping the Mac charged. There are only two annoyances. First, there are no volume controls, and the Mac refuses to adjust the volume if the monitor is the output device, so the headphone jack is pointless. The second annoyance is that the monitor isn't always recognized when I plug in the cable. A few times a week, I have to unplug the cable and plug it back in a few times, then all is well.

Excellent with MacBook Pro 2017 13 in w/ Touchbar
Works VERY well with my MacBook Pro 2017 13 inch with Touchbar. Since it comes with a USB-C, it is just plug and play. As others have mentioned, it does not have speakers, which is the only downside. I was spending a lot of time searching for a relatively inexpensive external display for my MacBook Pro 2017 and was glad to have found this!

Amazing.
The bezel other reviewers are talking about is the actual bezel. There's no friggin displayable pixel there. So ignore that review. This is the cheapest monitor that supports both 1440p AND USB-C. It charges the Macbook pro (2017 model with the touch bar), AND provides a quality display.I highly recommend this to anyone. For the price, it can't be beat.

horrible return policy
I bought it for $330 but only $200 is returned. The only reason they provide is the box is opened. Of course, I need to open the box to test the monitor.I connected it with my MacBook and found that my MacBook can't recognize the resolution well. If it uses the 2K resolution the items on the screen are too small but if it scales up a bit the resolution drops to 1080p.

Perfect for newer MacBook Pro's with Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports
Use at work. Perfect for newer MacBook Pro's with Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports. One (included) cable for video, sound, and charging. 1440 (aka QHD or 2K) is the perfect resolution for 27in monitor connected to MacBook. Half the price of my BenQ PD2710 with same specs (also a fantastic MacBook Pro monitor with a great USB dock in the base, but not worth twice the price)
