EmeTerm Explore - life without nausea, at long last! Yay!
As a child, always carsick/airsick/train-sick/seasick. Runs in the family. Tough, since we were always traveling. Worse for our mom, who always had to clean up after us. Dad never got sick, just disgusted with us. Military man!Have had 24 hour migraines/headaches for decades, after numerous head injuries & car accidents. Tried all sorts of medications and therapies, endured countless side effects and expenses. Don’t know which was worse?Neurologist suggested I try an eTens for headaches. I’m using the Headaterm made by this same company, EmeTerm (Canadian) who makes the Explore. Since the headache device is giving me great results - significantly fewer migraines than ANY medication EVER, I thought I’d try their nausea device, the Explore, since it’s the same technology.I’ve been using the Explore for about 2 weeks, and wow! I’ve gone from nausea all the time to none. I mean no nausea AT ALL. That’s absolutely amazing. No more living on Zofran or Dramamine, with feeling dull, brain-dead and constipated. Or the patches for nausea (awful, forget enjoying a vacation - you’re in bed sleeping, or so high you can’t function), or ginger- when you’re nauseated? Yuck! Only makes you even more nauseated. The trick with the Explore is to position it 2-fingers away from the crease in your wrist. Tight enough to feel the tingle & vibration in your fingers. I set at level 1, and go up to no more than level 2 (for me). If it’s too strong, you’ll not wear it. Everyone’s different, so don’t give up too easily. Do you want to go back to feeling nauseous? NO!! You can adjust as you need to. As nausea sets in, go up a level by just pressing the button once for up, twice for down a level. Since my nausea is all the time, I leave it on my wrist, keep it turned on hours.. Left wrist is the best for me.I bought the Apple watchband that works for the Explore in combination with the Apple Watch, to wear them together. The watch on the top of your wrist, the Explore on the accupressure points on the back of your wrist. I don’t always use the gel, but when I do, I need to turn the intensity down a notch. If the intensity is too powerful on any setting, two presses to turn it down. Breathe. You want to feel it, but it shouldn’t cause discomfort.Stick with it. Your brain needs time to adjust. It will become part of your rhythm. Like breathing.I use it for anxiety and insomnia, too, because pain keeps me up.I’m fused my entire neck down past my shoulder blades, front & back of my spine. Rods, plates, lots of screws and staples. The subtle signal helps me regulate my breathing so I can fall asleep. I know other reviewers have mentioned this, too. This device is well worth the small expense. The quality is there, it’s made to withstand water, you can wear in the shower. The battery lasts days & days. Charges very fast, with USB-C charging cords. They give you two charging cords - a thoughtful gift! The watchband included is soft & flexible. The apple watchband I got I like, too, & do recommend if you don’t want to wear a device on each wrist.I do recommend the EmeTerm Explore. What do you have to lose? Nausea? Does anyone who suffers from nausea like it? No one I know. My family wanted me to be the guinea pig. Now they are ordering their own. They are a tough crowd to please, believe me.

Motion Sickness + Pregnancy Nausea = *Shocked* at how great this works!
I purchased this as a last-minute hope to ease my motion sickness during a brief trip with ~5 hours of being on a plane and ~2hours of riding in the back seat of an Uber.....all while 5-6 weeks pregnant. I was starting to get the early bits of nausea and I was nervous of flying again since the last time I did that while 7 weeks pregnant it was rough. I was slightly skeptical at the effectiveness before actually using it.I'm so glad I bought it - this little band is incredible! The waterproof and battery life capabilities are absolutely worth the extra money compared to the other version. It's discreet, easy to use & learn/remember the functions (hold for 3 seconds for on/off, press one for up a level, twice for down a level), it's definitely effective at fighting nausea and even slight hunger pains, and it fits great. I was worried I would get a rash from the band like I do with the original Fitbit silicone bands but so far I haven't reacted at all. I wore it nearly all day yesterday, using it for about half the day in total on either level 1 or 2 (I hardly feel level 1 at all, and I haven't gone above level 2 ever). It allowed me to not get car sick, sick on the airplane, or sick from waiting to get lunch when I was starving. I wore it just above my Fitbit on my wrist. My trip was just about 48 hours in total and I'm still using the band on it's original charge while I sit here at my work desk and starting work for the day (currently it's on level 2 and helping to fight some of my mild morning sickness). So the only thing I wish this came with is an extra expander piece - I have a slightly larger than average wrist size for an adult woman, and considering you need to wear this about 2 finger widths above the base of your palm, I'm wearing it in slot 4 out of 14 for the little band notches. If you have particularly large wrists or lower arms there's a chance it might be too small.

No more car sickness!
Let me start by saying I have always suffered from motion sickness in the car. I can't read, look at screens, sleep, sometimes even listening to music through headphones sets it off and its ten times worse if I'm in the back seats.Recently my family wanted to do a 13hr road trip. My brother in law prefers to drive and my spouse co-pilots. Which left me in the back seat of a car the whole trip. I bought this band on a whim and a prayer hoping it would keep me from vomiting and being miserable.Let me tell you this sucker worked. I put it on dry without the gel stuff an hour before we set out on this great adventure. I was super cautious at first so I sat facing forward avoiding all entertainment other than idle chit chat. Well by the time we got to the 8hr mark I realized I didnt feel sick in the least! I was playing on my phone and reading my kindle without issues. This band is a life saver. That said I couldn't stand it on any setting above a one. It sends gentle electrical impulses into your pressure point and that makes the fingers slightly tingle. I found if I tried to up the settings it makes the hand feel like I touched a live horse wire. Not painful but not good either. I wore the band for the entire 13hrs during the travel and then all day when we were at our destination. I turned it on and off as needed throughout the day so very continuous wear. Thankfully I never needed a higher setting than one. Overall I spent around 26ish hours straight in the car over the course of a weekend without even a hint of being sick.I dont know the durability of this thing but tbh it worked so well I'd probably just keep buying new ones even if they died every 6 months.

morning sickness
Product seems to work well for morning sickness. The only complaint I have is… WHY on earth do you have to have the constant blinking light. Going to have to find a sticker for nighttime use. It just seems like an absurd and unnecessary design. As for nausea relief. Definitely still nauseas but it at least reduces severity significantly.
