High quality product; buying again; love that they are USA-made!
The 1st time I put them on, rough calluses on my thumbs caused a few tiny snags. Also, I didn't see the directions on the piece of white cardboard that was in the package. I bunched up the stocking down to the ankle level. Very discouraging. Then I saw the directions! The 2nd time, I wore latex gloves AND followed the instructions. (I reuse the gloves each time.) No risk of snagging, better grip on the stocking fabric. Bought Oct 23rd, wearing 5 days/week, many gentle hand washings and drip dry. No perceptible change in compression. Have never had even tiny slippage at top, nor rolling of the band. My measurements were near the top of one size, so I got the next one up. Perfect. Going to buy the same company's open toe. The closed toe version is a bit cramping for my toes--that part of my foot is quite wide. The reviews I've seen with fewer than a top rating described problems that --some of them, at least--may be avoided by using the gloves to put on the stockings, following the directions carefully (turn them almost inside out, down to the heel, before you start putting them on), and measuring carefully to be sure you have the right size. I love that these are made here, in the USA.

Essential for my post knee replacement recovery
These stockings are quite tight and I groan and stuggle to get them on and up...however once I do, they really help with my post surgery swelling and pain. I did not wear it ( only wear one at a time because I only had surgery on one leg) yesterday and at the end of the day my leg was really aching and swollen. I think they have made a huge difference in my recovery...give me a feeling of protection and support ..and since a lot of my pain is due to swelling, helps a lot with my pain..I am going to try wearing them at night as I have bad insomnia right now. I don't know if these would work for you if your legs are the wrong length or shape..I have long legs that have been on the skinny side..I am 5'4", 130 pounds and I took a medium. I m 3 weeks post knee replacement and doing really well with my PT but had much more pain during PT when I did not wear them. They are really tight but worth the trouble.

exactly what I wanted
I am 5'5" and typically 120 pounds, currently pregnant and about 130 pounds. I was looking for compression thigh highs to wear during the second and third trimesters and bought these in black and nude in medium. At first, I didn't think I was going to be able to get them on, they were so tight, but thankfully they are very sturdy so with all the tugging that was required, they did not rip, and I was able to squeeze into them and they provide the perfect amount of compression. I plan to order them in large for the 3rd trimester because I really don't think I'll be able to get the mediums on when I'm another 10+ pounds bigger. I have been wearing them everyday to work, and I've washed them by hand as well as in the wash machine on delicate (cold) and laid out to dry. Held up just fine so far. Love them!Update: just starting 3rd trimester, at 143 lbs, still wearing everyday to work. Same mediumblack and nude pairs I bought originally. Holding up great and still fit.

mid-thigh compression does not work
Do to a melanoma, I have worn a compression hose for 25 years. Mid thigh on a heavy leg will not stay up,.no matter what brand you choose. If it comes to the groin, no problem. With the lace top it will not constrict the circulation of the femoral artery. Using the skin adhesive stray only makes your trousers stick to your skin. Quality and price is very good. But, if your leg is heavy, order a size 2x larger than what the chart suggest for a decedent fit.

A bit more comfortable than others purchased.
Again, they are compression stocking, tight and uncomfortable but better fitting than others purchased.

Find the right fit
My doctor prescribed compression stockings for my varicose veins. I had never experienced these stockings before. I originally ordered XL but found them to be impossible to put on. When looking at the sizes it would have been helpful to refer to weight and height, at least approximately. Also, I have painful arthritis in my hands and fingers which made it even more difficult to put the stockings on. The XXL made it somewhat easier but still I found them to be hard to pull up ( even after following the directions). Once you obtain the correct size and find the patience to learn the proper way to put them on you will suddenly realize how comfortable these stockings are. The pain and achiness in my legs was non existent!

Good compression
When I first opened the package I thought they were merely nylons, but I was surprised at the compression I got once I put them on. They are doing exactly what they are intended to do. I am now able to be on my feet for an extended period of time and not experience as much pain in the leg that had two knee surgeries and has also now been diagnosed with varicose veins. Haven't had them long enough to comment on the durability, can only hope they last a while.

Look + Feel Nice; Lacking Durability
The pros: These stockings are comfortable, as far as thigh-high compression stockings go. They also look nice - my coworkers didn't believe that they were, indeed, compression stockings. The cons: They aren't very well-made compared to other compression stockings that I have. The quality is more that of tights, than compression stockings. After only two wears they were snagged + had runs in them. My other compression stockings lasted many months before getting snags or runs. I treated them as delicately as other pairs - wearing rubber gloves to put them on/take them off, wearing slippers or socks over them when I'm walking shoeless in the house, and handwashing them. Nonetheless, they still snagged + got runs. Despite the cost savings compared to other brands, I don't think they were worth their price since they have to be replaced so soon. I will be returning to my other compression stocking brands because in the long run, the extra price for them pays off in durability/longevity.

Amazing product but short usage span
Life saver! I get severe leg swelling for sitting or standing for a long period (due to pregnancy). This has helped preventing it all day long! I’m now able to wear skirts without worrying about leg swelling and pain! The only reason why I can’t give 5 star is because I seem to have to replace it every month. I’m not sure if it’s because I wear it everyday or it just doesn’t last long after a few wash.. I followed instruction and hand washed it every time.. I’m yet to find another thigh high compression stocking like this though...

Price and quality are good. Take extra 1-2 sizes.
Finally I got my size. I usually wear size M/L and I am tall. So the size M was very short, and almost impossible to wear. I took size XL and it is just right for me. I would like to be it even a bit more higher, but I think it will stretch a bit. I like quality. But again first time to wear was extremely difficult. My hubby helped me a lot. Second time was a bit easier but I scratched myself while the process:/. I think after few times it will be easier. For first 2 days tights worked well.

Not what I needed
These are ok but they are extremely hard to put on I should have brought a bigger size as due to surgeries my knees are swollen all the time. First time trying my finger went straight through, but a larger pair would not have given me the compression I need.

They stay up all day.
Nylons have been a cosmetic item. When the need for compression hosiery arose, it became a very difficult purchase. Cost, durability, function, and cosmetic value became very difficult to find in a single product. EvoNation seems to have combined everything into one package. Two pairs cost slightly more than one pair of the leading brand and that is substantial when you consider the functional life of compression hosiery.
