The specs on this item look good and yet we have two reviews that are at opposite ends of the rating scale. The average score of the two reviews is 3 out of 5, smack dab in the middle. Hardly a score to use for a decision. Can we please have some more reviews? (I'm required to rate the unit to be permitted to post. Thus I used the average of the two reviews which reflect their average rating and tells us nothing). More reviews, please.

It was a much cheaper item when i bought it( around $70 dollars us) and it is complete bull NO WARRANTY CHINESE RIPOFF. If you need more info than that buy it. It is a good product for 2 minutes then you need to reset it. As long as you do not want to listen to something for more then 2 minutes this is an ideal product.

I plugged my brand new Philips Fidelio X2HR's into this admittedly great sounding dac/amp and it blew out the left driver of the headphone! I'm no class A audiophile but I do not recommend this. For you and your headphones sake, don't buy this unless you plan destroying your headphones and buying a new dac/amp. Also, turning the volume knob feels like sandpaper.

This was my first foray into the world of headphone amps. The amp seems to be well put together and provides a noticeable improvement over my motherboard's ALC1150 Codec and TI OPA1652 Amp. Very happy with the sound and form factor. One thing I'm not as happy with is the sharp pop coming through my HD 598SR every time my computer powers up. Only work around I've discovered so far is to remember to mute the amp prior to shutting down. Unfortunately - I don't always remember.Hopefully this won't shorten the life of my headphones.Haven't decided whether to keep it or exchange it,

Tengo un xDuoo X3 y buscaba un DAC USB para reproducir con similar calidad desde el ordenador, ya que la tarjeta de sonido de éste no llega a ese nivel.He probado un par de DACs de este precio y hasta la fecha solo había conseguido la misma calidad que el ordenador, pero el Sabaj D3 me sorprendió gratamente, puesto que mejora bastante el sonido del ordenador.Tan solo una pega para los más puristas del sonido original y es que resaltan bastantes los graves.Otro punto negativo es que no lleva relé de desconexión, por lo que al encender y apagar hace él típico "pop" que no es bueno para los auriculares.Por lo demás, una gran compra

Application was to add wired headphones with independent volume control to a Toshiba 26AV52RZ HD TV. Source was from TV optical output. The Sabaj D3 was paired to audio-technica ATH-M20x headphones (47 ohm impedance). Very good sound quality ! Lots of reserve on the sound level for normal listening. Also tested with coaxial digital output of Sony BDPS3700 blu ray player with same results. I would recommend to select headphones with impedance between 32 and 64 ohms to maximize output power. The Sabaj D3 shows a solid and aesthetic built. No user manual but straightforward to use. Take note that the RCA analog outputs at the back are also controlled in level by the volume knob in the front.

Good build quality and very easy to use. One thing : I didn't see much of an improvement in sound quality over my integrated sound card... It was my first DAC/AMP, so take all of this with a grain of salt.
