Bowls are beautiful, but…..
The 5-star rating applies to the product. The bowls are really beautiful. Denby makes a quality product and these bowls are no exception. I love the ombre shading on the inside of the bowl. I have the plates to the Azure Haze pattern and they’re all very well made and durable. Now for the flip side of this story - the shipping. I ordered two sets (8 bowls total) that were shipped in two 4-piece set boxes inside one larger box. The large box was not very well padded or sealed. One set of 4 bowls arrived unscathed and I kept that set, but at least one bowl was broken in the other boxed set of 4 and I returned that box. The larger shipping box was so mangled upon arrival that I couldn’t use it for return shipping. Amazon GB has to do a better packing job when shipping an item like dinnerware. I want to buy the mugs, but I’m reluctant to order them from Amazon because returning them if damaged is a hassle if I have to first buy a shipping box from UPS. I’m opting to wait to see if they become available again on Wayfair or Macy’s before taking the chance of buying on Amazon for this product.

Versatile Individual Bowl
These beautiful Azure pattern pasta bowls are just what I’ve been searching for- pasta, entree salads, stir fry, even an egg scramble bowl or just a generous portion of popcorn. Beautiful, durable, versatile, they match my dinnerware and are stacked on the kitchen counter for daily use. Am considering a second set of 4 to complete current Debby place settings.

A Hint of Elegance and Generous Size!
I love these bowls! They are the perfect depth and have just a hint of elegance. They are exactly the same blue as the picture with a fine gold ribbon along the too They are beautiful. Perfect size for a healthy amount of pasta, a summer salad or Budda bowl. And they are very well packed for delivery. Don't hesitate to buy these.

Love Denby but this is the second set I've received with a broken plate. I get it, fragile items break. But having to send a set of 4 back and run the risk of receiving another set with a broken plate is just a bit silly.

Denby means dependable
Excellent Denby quality, look & feel good and wash well.Although they are classed as pasta dishes they are versatile & big enough to be used as soup bowls, small serving dishes or as dinner plates.Ideal if you are not eating at a table as the sides are raised which should prevent spillages.Really pleased with my purchase, the price was very competitive, the light grey colour has a lovely speckly effect (much better than being a matt light grey) and they were packaged so well it took me ages to get into the box.Highly recommended.
