Q: I would like to put this on my fridge, what preparation do I need to do?

Due to the hard and very smooth surface of appliances like fridges you would have to sand the surface first and then clean thoroughly. This would be to allow the adhesive to have something to bond to. We would suggest using a 1200 grit sand paper, then use the adhesive and the metal leaf you choose. Afterwards you would bee to use a good varnish for protect and sealing. We would advise you to do all this on a small test area before the whole fridge. Also be aware that once you have done this you would not be advised to stick things to it. i.e fridge magnets/ blue tack etc as this could then peal away the leaf you have used.

Not happy with product

I bought 2 lots of the Gold and green. This was just what I wanted, great colour, and stuck well. I ordered another, same batch number, but the colour difference was unbelievable, its totally messed up the look of the painting, and the leaf did not stick as well as the other 2, even though I did exactly the same. Could do with another couple of free packs, to try and hide the difference, but of course it comes from China, so I doubt if that will happen.
