Can theses be used with wall plugs?

I have used them successfully with the correct sized plastic wall plug

Chipboard screws sent when i ordered wood screws. are they the same, please? or are threads different for wood screws?

The main difference between woodscrews and chipboard screws lies in the threads which, on a chipboard screw, run all the way along the screw's length to the underside of the head whereas wood screws have a plain section betwee head and thread. This makes chipboard screws particularly useful where an extra-strong hold is required, such as when installing garden decking. It appears that your selection only has one size of wood screw (the longest). For practical purposes it makes no difference which you use>

Are these self tapping?

To he best of my knowledge they are not although can be used as self tapping depending on the job. hope this helps.

Case was broken

The screws are Ok but the plastic case in which they in was damaged in two place but because I needed to use the screws I did not return them. The case looked like it had been throw about.
