Great powerful sound with pumping bass and good battery life
Great powerful sound with pumping bass and good battery lifeThis speaker has great sound for a smaller speaker that doesn't need wheels to move it. The battery life is decent as it will last 10-13 hours at half volume. Did I say it has great bass? It does and has a boom mode that really gives the lows a boost. The eq. helps boost the highs and lows while cutting the mids which counters the speakers natural frequency response.Cons? No lights. Stereo Link only works when using Bluetooth mode. I would have purchased another speaker for stereo sound but I don't use Bluetooth to stream my music I use a FM transmitter and tune all stereos speakers and radios throughout my home and property to my station. I guess the only option I have for stereo is to connect a fm walkman to the aux port on each speaker using a cable that can single out the R and L channels and feed them into each speaker respectively. The only issue with this method is the battery life of those fm walkmans are too short. I mean only 5 hours? I need at least 15. Anyway, this speaker gets 5 stars as it has great sound for a reasonable price. You won't be sorry if you buy one.

Bang for your buck
. it would be twice the bang for my buckIt also has the ability to hook up other devices to it so if I were to buy a second oneWorth it for the money, I researched and priced several portable speakers, this one comes with amenities that others neglect to provide. The sound quality is pretty awesome, I crank it to about 28 and piss my neighbors off. 😆 I can hear it perfectly clear from anywhere in my house if I leave my bedroom door open, and it is loud enough for me to sing at the top of my lungs in the shower and not have to hear my inability to carry a tune. The quality of bass is a 9 out of 10 in standard mode and 10 out of 10 with the bass boost option. It feels really well made and has a nice sturdy weight to it, it has the ability to be roughed up if you were to use it for outdoor venues, the wheels and retractable handle make it an absolute joy to take everywhere, I take it with me to work, anytime I leave the house I throw it in my truck. I have a pretty decent sound system in my truck and find myself using the block rocker more often because of its ease of use and connectivity to my phone. The microphone is an awesome option if you have Spotify premium you get the lyrics to all your favorite songs which pretty much turns this portable speaker into an improvised karaoke machine. It even has the ability to mirror link other devices, so I'm thinking about buying a second one so I have twice the bang for my buck.

Cheap, great bass, and FM radio
I’ve had several JBL PartyBox speakers and the Extreme 4. I returned them all for not living up to expectations. This cheap “no name” Ion speaker really impresses. Bass and mid-bass are really great, even at low volume. Just turn on the Extra Bass button or whatever they call it. I took it on my kayak and it got plenty wet with saltwater and I hosed it off. No issues at all. The main reason I got it is because it has FM radio so I can use it for sound at the drive-in theater. I’m keeping this one.

Probably the best portable stereo you can find.
Probably the best portable stereo you can find.Pros:Powerful and good quality sound (after tweaking equalizer settings).Seems to play up to 1153 mp3's on a USB thumb drive while the other jobsite stereos don't read a thumb drive and only charge other devices.Contains a huge battery core. You can blast at volume 14-16 for about ten hours and still have 2 of 4 bars on battery life.Cons:Randomization sucks. With over 1000 songs, it seems to play some everyday, and sometimes the same song up to 3 times a day. But when it's playing such a song and you want to hear others in that folder, switch to folder mode, and it will play that folder in a loop until it getting back to the song it started on which you can skip. Set it back to random and skip to other stuff. As you add or subtract files from the drive, it'll change which ones that stereo tends to play a more. With the 1153 song limit, you'll run into that before you reach the 16GB limit, unless you have whole albums as single files. Adding too many songs slows loading and makes it studder at first. So I just divide my collection over two thumb drives so far. Have 32GB drives, but 1153 mp3's while most are ripped from CD at max 320kbps quality, only takes up about 8 GB.Only plays mp3, not wav or OGG. Didn't try flac but the manual only mentions mp3. Does anyone use that garbage wma format? I don't.Other info that may interest people:In the equalizer settings, I turned highs and mids up 3 and bass down 1, and bass is still higher than normal. With the default settings, mids containing other instrumentation and other layers of sound get drowned out.Haven't tried the phone app yet, which has more equalizer options.Weighs 16 lbs. Has wheels and extendable handle. I just carry it by hand.Has both size input jacks and comes with a microphone.Only used the bluetooth a little, and haven't bothered listening to any radio, since I don't want to hear any commercials.Overall, quite happy with this stereo. Have had it about 9 and half months at time of this review.

Great radio,Bluetooth, aux, and most importantly Great sound.
What an incredible little box. Well done and worth the investment. As an avid out doors man. I can say in the few days I have put this thing to the test and it works very well the sound is incredible and all functions like it’s supposed to. Love the little 5” woofer in a T for some bass.

bang for your buck.
We use this speaker all the time. To be specific, we used it for our rag-tag wedding as a microphone and speaker system, and worked well. These days it's for music in the backyard and it blasts. Battery lasts a long time, microphone is handy, pairing to iphone is easy enough.

It's loud n clear great bass mic sucks
Customers should know this thing freaking rocks! Jobsite music war is what I got it for. The bad thing is they have ions too. But I think 220 watts is more than theirs. The mic it came with..not so much.if you wanna sound good singing karaoke on this get a much nicer mic.
