Are these mugs machine washable? Could you serve hot drinks in them?

hey are not machine washable - you use warm soapy water - and warm drinks would be OK, but not boiled drinks like tea or coffee - they are meant for beer / mead.

Hi. I am really happy with the finish of the tankard but I can not get rid of the rotten smell from inside. Any advise please?

Don't know if it will help, because I didn't notice a smell but then again we did this straight away. It is traditional to break in any tankard with a spirit, usually vodka, and swill it all the way round the inside. Happy drinking!

Bought as a gift; well made and sturdy.

Bought as a gift, went down a storm! No issues, looked and felt as expected.Obviously this is made from real horn so not vegan friendly, but it is solidly constructed and ideal for fantasy fans (or bovine enthusiasts...) who want a functional decorative prop. That said, I would recommend giving it a couple of boiling water washes before use as there is an initial smell which is to be expected from a natural product!

Beautifully Made Item

Bought this as part of a birthday gift for my husband and he loved it. I also bought him some quality mead to drink from it! It's sturdy, well made and has a beautiful unique pattern/colouring running through the horn. Very pleased.
