5W Metal Film Resistor Kit from 1 Ohm to 1M Ohm 25 Values 5 Watt 1% Resistors Assortment

These are really big (got the 5 watts) and packaged nicely. Some of the bags (more than 1) had long black hair strands in them. Kind of gross, but at least we know it was packaged by a worker--and not a robot. Also the word "each" is misspelled on the label. Totally worth the money, especially to stock up on a sort of rare wattage that I don't find too often while scavenging old electronics.

This small compact box contains just about any value of 1% 1/4W resistor you are likely to need. Ten resistors of each value are fixed on a section of a strip of reel tape with the specific value printed on. This makes for a much more compact way of storing your resistors compared to the old sectioned pull out drawers which take up space and have a tendency to tip over and spill out everything. The selection is good for finding which values you are going to use the most so later you can order of just those values that you need the most.

Very handy to have for the occasional repair or DIY project. So far they all have worked well.

I only measured a few, and most are within tolerance but some were not (though not far off). No issue for my application, but I’d treat them as 5% resistors rather than 1% to be safe. Still giving 4* based on value for money.

Great addition to my Electronics Laboratory Bench. I've got three different plastic boxes of 1% resistor kits because each box has values that the other two boxes don't have. Hopefully I have all of the values I will ever need.

Just what I needed at a great price delivered.

I received two 10 piece taped portions of 68 ohm resistors in the set. Their mistake. So. I thought I'd test them. They were all in the 61.xx region, approx. 10 % off. I had already tested the 100K ohm taped set of 10. They were all less than 5% off, approx. 3%. So, there's obviously poor QC.

This is a fine assortment of 5 watt, 1%, metal film resistors. 25 values, 5 each value. I was impressed by the super packaging and labeling. Each 5 piece value in its own plastic, seal top bag. The label with ohms value, wattage and tolerance is paper, glued to the outside of the bag and is perfectly legible. The 125 total pieces enclosed in a sturdy plastic, two tab locking box. So much better than when I ordered resistors direct from China as they were poorly marked and in flimsy, too small plastic bags. I will be investigating other resistor assortments from this Amazon seller.
