The adjustable back clip makes suspenders remain on shoulders. Adjust the clip to your upper back. The other fixed designs are to low.

Purchased 2 pairs of these suspenders for my boys' Mario Kart relay race for their birthday party. One pair of suspenders kept coming off the cardboard "kart" & kept creating issues for Team Luigi as I had to keep calling time-out & fixing it. The suspenders on Team Mario's cardboard kart had no issues at all. As the cards were made from splitting one cardboard box in half, the thickness was exactly the same so I'm not sure if we got a faulty pair or if Team Luigi was more rough.I took 1 star off for how many issues it gave me during the party but if you're using them for actual pants, you shouldn't have an issue.

These suspenders broke the first time they were used. Disappointing, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought these suspenders hoping that they would solve the problem of my cycling tights slipping down from my waist while I was out riding my bicycle on cold days. It was either buy a new pair of tights for $30-$40 that would “maybe” stay in place, or try these suspenders for $4.45. They're nice and wide, the actual measurement is exactly 1" wide. The sturdy clips have plastic "teeth" that do a good job of gripping. I wore them for the first time yesterday and they worked perfectly! No more slipping down at the waist, saggy looking crotch area, or wrinkled looking legs.

The suspenders DO hold my pants up as expected. However, the adjusting fasteners are flimsy; both have come apart, and I have had to reassemble them, but not without difficulty. Moreover, the straps have not been assembled correctly. Where they pass through a clip in the back, the straps are supposed to pass through the clip crossing each other. Instead, the left strap is arranged to fasten on the left, and the right strap on the right. Awkward and disconcerting. I will spend some time reassembling them in an appropriate fashion.

These are five star suspenders the fit is amazing easy to adjust the functionability is awesome the easy to adjust the comfort the padding in the back where they come together is great easy to use and very comfortable durability is great the clasp is awesome
