HIC Kitchen Oval Baking Broiling Roasting Racks, Chrome Plated Steel Wire

I recently acquired a 4QT Nesco roaster, but it did not have the original baking rack, nor does the manufacturer sell it as a replacement part (they no longer make this small model). I checked dollar stores and other retailers, no one had a rectangular rack small enough. This HIC 10"x6" rack is a perfect fit (see pic). While I would prefer to have one that is a full rectangle, the octagonal shape of this one does span enough of the cooking chamber and it works well. It's a fairly heavy weight metal so should last a long time. It will also make a good cooling rack for baked goods. Overall, I'm very happy with this item.

good solid product. works as expected. easy to clean. metal not stainless only drawback. very good value. sits in a throw away broiler pan just fine. Gets turkey off the bottom of pan. Makes turkey crisp not soggy. I used this thursday for thanksgiving. Only caveat, I had to put some cut veggies next to the turkey or it would tip over. This model is flat but works great.

Very sturdy and coating good. I was a little disappointed at how small it was. Overall it works.

Perfect this is what I wanted. Great value for the money. It will fit my slow cooker perfectly. Really thick and sturdy. Cleans great and no chipping or warping. Much larger than I thought.

So much easier to use than a big broiler pan. I line a baking sheet with foil and clean up is a total breeze. Also love the smaller size bc I'm usually cooking for one.

I have never had a roasting rack despite years of making Thanksgiving turkeys. This seemed to be worth trying. After 4 hours in the oven cooking the bird, the non stick coating is already pealing off. I only hope we didn’t end up eating it! The rack was hard to clean as the turkey skin stuck on the groves of the adjustable part. I think I will stick to roasting the way I always have! Waste of $10.

Maybe I read it wrong but it is very tiny and light weight but you get what you pay for. It works so I guess that's all that matters.
