I purchased this with the hopes it would work out As I was begining to put it together I noticed there was no way to screw the cam lock pins on the top piece in. This creates a hazard by making it so the top most piece won't be stable prevents you from using the back plates as they need that piece to be stable They have as of yet to respond to my email. Frankly it's inexcusable for something like this to make it through quality control. Pretty confident Something should be wood glued into the top and bottom most holes to allow for you to screw in the cam lock pins their missing on both sides. sad that this is what 150 bucks buys you.They contected me after writing this Ill update the review after everything is done.Update I recieved what I needed after the company responded to my email. It was fixed in a timely manner given the logistical nature of having an item mailed to me.My only recomendationg is pay attention to the instructions their is a couple things off due to my own stupidity as I went a little to quick even with the mistatkes it looks good and does what I need it to.

Very easy to assemble. Did it by myself in about a half hour. It's solid and sturdy, and a perfect solution for storage and display. Got it at a great sale price. Shipped quickly, too. Highly recommended.

I bought two of this bookcase. The first one assembled reasonably easily and is a nice bookcase. The second one was missing a tiny part — a nylon threaded insert in one of the predrilled holes that allows the provided screw to be screwed in and connect the bookcase frame.I contacted the company through the email address in the provided instructions and received a reply from an individual who asked for more information. This individual stated they couldn’t find me in their database and asked for my invoice and order number. I sent copies of my Amazon order information.Time went on and I heard nothing, so I wrote back and the email address of the person I had been talking to no longer existed. So I wrote back to the original address and received only silence in reply.By now, it was too late to obtain a refund, plus the box had been destroyed in shipping and the whole thing weighed about ninety pounds, so a real pain to return. And all I needed was a small, ten-cent part.I tried contacting the supplier through Amazon’s contact the supplier function at least three times, but never got a reply. I have searched Amazon and the hardware stores for a replacement insert, but can’t find one the right size. I’m left with a pile of boards that can’t be assembled into a bookcase.So, buyer beware. If you buy this product you might get a nice bookcase or you might get an expensive pile of boards from an irresponsible supplier.

I liked the ease of putting it together. It is very sturdy and functional. It was also within my budget.
