We have big patio glass doors that are beautifully inviting. Our Veteran uncle recently moved in and he has advanced dementia. Finding these slider door safety locks have been such a peace of mind. Put up high on the door and out of sight, my uncle is not able to open the door when he wonders around late at night. It helps knowing he is safe inside and cannot wander off somewhere. These are awesome - for safety or for situations like ours!

The backing has a very strong hold on the window. I haven't had one issue with it and it does it's job. We have a police K9 in the backyard that does not like kids. I bought this to prevent my kids from opening the door as a reminder that she is out of her kennel.

I love these. I bought them a couple of times now. I use them on my patio doors and I feel like it really gives me an extra sense of security. I put them way up above so the grandkids cannot take them down.

I wish I hadn't known about these years ago. It would have saved me from getting cat hair on all my hanging clothes. The stopper for the doors are fairly unobtrusive and very easy to use.

Don’t waste your money. Get something sturdier. One set got stuck in between our sliding glass doors and the other set broke within the first week of using.
