This artificial Thatch covered the small Tiki roof I made without any issues. Used 1/2 inch staples to secure the thatch to the roof. I purchased a 240 ft and a 120 ft roll to cover around a 12 ft by 2 ft roof that allowed for some overhang. It was very easy to cut with scissors or a utility carpet knife and it blended nicely when adding extra material.

We ended up attaching this to a 3 ft blind cover, and added extra straw for the pattern.. great quality and there was plenty for 2-3ft blind cover and some even left over. Best bang for the buck, waterproof material, realistic out in the field!

Bought for a Halloween event and for what it was used for it did ok. The black backing shows through the "thatch" and was rolled so tightly we never did get it to totally get flat. The thatch is very thin. For a quick decoration that will not be seen very closely it's passable but if you are looking for a more substantial piece you might want to consider a different option.

This roofing is perfect for a manger we are building for children's church play. We are very happy with the product. It arrived fast too
