ZERO stars for this!!! They had a pic of a silver colored front, black backed air conditioner. I had previously owned that exact air conditioner and I wanted another. What they sent was a COMPLETELY different model and its WHITE! I would steer clear of this product as they didn't even send me the right replacement product!! Amazon was great bout it all, but I asked Amazon customer service to have them MAKE SURE the new one they were shipping to replace the wrong one they sent, was the correct one as listed in the for sale pic, and they sent me the SAME freaking exact one I told them was not the one pictured, TWICE!!! Now I'm stuck w two 70 pound air conditioners I have to lug to the car, lug out of the car, into the UPS to ship back! The product they send instead of what was pictured looks cheaply made and sells for a hundred dollars LESS than the one they did have pictured when I bought it!! (they have removed the pic it now shows what they ship) they said it was an "inventory" problem, that doesn't explain why the second one was shipped after I told them to make sure it was the correct one before they shipped it! No one even opened the box to make sure it wasn't the same wrong white one, before they shipped it!!!

Before you buy, think it out.Where are you going to plug it in. The manufacturer warns against using extension cords.Where is the hot exhaust air ( I mean it is very hot) going to go. The manufacturer recommends you make a whole in the wall, near the floor venting to the outside.Lastly where are you going to drain the liquid that accumulates on humid days. The manufacturer does provide a drain cock however it is difficult to get to, on the bottom of the very heavy and large unit.After all is properly set up, it does works.It does cool the air 10-20 degrees, depending on humidity. However, it does not cool the air as well, as my 10 year old wall air conditioner unit, which can and does cool air down to 40 degrees, no matter the outside temperature or humidity (temperatures of 90-110 degrees and humidity at 40-60 %).

The hose is difficult to set up and is not practical in some areas. I wanted to be able to move the AC to other areas on a temporary basis but it's weight and the hose connection makes that difficult.
