Ritz GearDeluxe Premium Large Zoom Photo Backpack

I was looking for a bag to use just as a camera bag. I have a LowePro Rezo 120 AW that I use to store the camera, cables, charger etc at home, or if you needed to take all the bits with you, which, by the way, is a perfect bag for the job. But for those times when you just need the camera, I wanted a DSLR 'T' shape bag, but smaller, that would fit my Panasonic Lumix FZ38 with it's lens hood attached, so I didn't have to keep removing it to stow the camera. It seems the majority of the 'T' shaped camera and lens bags are designed for larger DSLR's. My little bridge camera would fit 'depthwise' - lens down... But there was loads of room around the body of the camera for it to 'rattle' about. And also, you are carrying an oversized bag, when you want something as small as possible. This Ritz Gear bag is the perfect fit. It's slightly smaller all around than a LowePro TLZ mini, just to give you a comparison (which is too big for my FZ). The dimensions of this Ritz Gear Deluxe Large Zoom Photo Pack (RGC25) bag are; Camera and lens depth ext 18cm, int 17cm, Length ext 17.5cm, int 13.5cm, Width ext 11.5cm, int 9cm. To be clear, that is; top to bottom, left to right and front to back measurements. It has a carrying handle on the top, a belt strap on the back and D rings either side for the included shoulder strap. There are also 2 elasticated mesh side pockets for small items. The reason why this only gets a 4 star review is that that build quality is a bit poor. However, is entirely adequate for the task... But it has to be remembered, it is a quarter of the price of a LowePro or equivalent. So if you are not fussed about 'brand image' and absolutely perfect stitching, this could be the bag for you. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Especially so, as it was the only bag I could find that would fit my Bridge Camera with Lens Hood attached that wasn't going to cost me more than 30 quid!
