Works great with my Peloton
It's always difficult to find time to exercise enough each day, I wanted the ability to be able to casually jump on my Peloton bike with a moments notice, a quick 10 during my lunch break, or before a meeting, or while on a phone call, basically some way to keep a bit more active while working from home. Having to hunt though the washing pile for a pair of socks, put on and tie up my cleated cycling shoes, then skate across the hard floor of my home office to the bike all takes too much time. These pedals completely solved that issue, I can jump straight on the bike any time and just ride. My kids are also now able to use the bike as they didn't have any cycling shoes and the original pedals were too uncomfortable to use without cleated shoes. These pedals work surprisingly well when wearing socks or just barefoot. The surface feels like a bit of sand paper, so I thought it may make my feet sore without shoes, but it works surprisingly well. I think because your feet are just planted on them and not sliding across them, it doesn't really rub much. The amount of grip provided also feels great, I've never slipped and can cycle at reasonable speeds without issue. I was also concerned about them being made of plastic, but they feel pretty solid, I'm about 14 stone and while stepping on and off and I haven't noticed any problems so far. They did creak a bit at first, but putting a bit of grease on the threads solve this. Overall they're quite expensive but I'm really glad I bought them.

Ignore the looks, they are great.
These are great pedals. I use on a mountain bike as a hybrid for off and on road rather than hardcore mountain biking alone. For what I use them for, they perform very well with a lot of foot cover and a lot of grip. Also, don’t strip the skin off your legs if you catch your shins. The looks grow on you. Traditionally, you think of peddles as lots of sharp bits to stick to your trainers but… these just work. The build quality is good. I’m not sure how long they will last and whether the foot surface is serviceable - but will report back and update the review if I have issues. There was a review stating they looked second hand on delivery - mine came with some marks on the peddles but it looked like excessive grip material, not used - see pic.

Excellent Pedals, a must have!
I researched all kinds of pedals and bought these for my new ebike not having seen them before. I wanted to wear whatever shoes I decided, let it be trainers or fancy shoes and not to be restricted to specific cycling shoes. These ticked all the boxes. They are easy to fit like most pedals. Doesn't hurt your heels or back of your legs if you step down. The pedal doesn't spin round when you go to put your foot on it like all my other pedals. This means it is easier to get your foot on but the rotation when riding is like all other bicycle pedals. They have been much admired by all in my local cycling community. They are stylish and the white strip matches my bike, other colours are available. I even rode my bike on a greenway without my shoes, it was a scorching day and my feet were roasted. No problem at all, the best pedals I have ever had. The grip on them looks a bit like that used on skateboards. They even gripped to my socks but didn't damage them. Buy them.

Wanted to like them
I did LEJOG with the red set on all types of surfaces , they were very grippy with my 5 tens ,but the grip wore out quickly & they developed a worrying squeak half way ,I've lost confidence in them .

I love the fact I can use them barefoot
I have completed over 1000 miles using these pedals on a fully loaded touring bike. I was not expecting them to survive, which is why I didn't write my review straight away. I love the fact I can use them barefoot! The build quality is superb and the grip is brilliant. I get lots of comments from people who want pedals like them. I expected to take them off my bike in winter but they are staying on! Highly recommend.

Effective but pricey
I wear normal shoes when cycle-commuting and find regular pedals quite slippery, especially when wet. I did have a pair of MKS Sylvan touring pedals which were very good and gripped pretty well, but unfortunately the bike they were attached to was stolen.I thought I'd try these as they're a nice match for my Cube Hyde Race which is black with green details. The pedals are very slim and extremely grippy. You almost forget they are there as your feet are planted so firmly with no bumps or spikes under your soles, almost like your feet are glued to them. It's nice to know that you won't be scraping your shins or any walls to pieces with lethal metal pedals. They don't spin freely like quality bearing pedals, but the rotation is very smooth with no sense of grinding that you get with cheap or poorly maintained pedals. However, despite their effecacy and taking into account the R&D that probably went into these, I do think they're rather expensive for what they are - a pair of beautiful MKS touring pedals are less than half the price. Also, for the money, It's disappointing to not receive any spare grip tape or spare reflective stickers - a little tube of appropriate maintenance grease would have been nice as I can't find the recommended type. All you get is a 3mm allen key (used for disasembling the pedals), but you actually need an 8mm one to install them from behind the crank-arm instead of a pedal-spanner from the front.Overall these pedals are very unique with excellent grip performance and light weight, but gets four stars because of the price and no extras.

Great pedals
High quality product!! These pedals have a non slip, grip surface and are very comfortable + secure to use, even when cycling barefoot. They are very straightforward to fit and well worth the price, given the quality of the product.

great idea, great execution
love these pedals, been riding a while on them and they're still holding up well. grip tape needs a replacement somewhat soon but that will be easy and expected. I suppose a better quality grip tape as standard would be appreciated but that's nit-picking.

Pedalandoci ho avuto conferma.
