High quality and made to last
I got this iron for my son in college. He's got a lot of job interviews coming up and I wanted to make sure he had a high quality iron to take care of his clothes. His version of ironing has been hanging stuff up in the bathroom when he's taking a shower. 🤦♀️ At this stage of the game, that's no longer going to cut it. I did a lot of research before purchasing this model. I didn't care as much about the price, just the quality and performance of the iron. I didn't want to get him an iron that leaks or has inconsistent heat. You get what you pay for. I ended up choosing this model because it offered all of the functionality that he needs or will need in the future. It's a 1700 watt iron, so it heats up quickly allowing you to get ironing quicker and it generates a good amount of steam. It's got vertical steaming, which is handy for a quick steam touch-up to his suit. The auto-shutoff and anti-drip systems are very nice safety features. The anti-drip is especially useful when you're ironing at the last minute. The soleplate is titanium-infused ceramic, so it easily glides over the fabric. The extra long 10 foot cord is very handy, especially in a dorm with limited outlets. It comes with a water cup for filling the water chamber and a heat resistant mat to protect your counter when you sit it down. When filling the water make sure to use distilled water, as it will help with the longevity and performance of the iron. If you don't use distilled water you can get limescale build-up, which will greatly affect the iron. I couldn't be any happier with the quality of this iron. It's a product that is made to last for years and years to come.

Decent
Love the iron. Just wish it had an "off" switch / label.

Does not heat up as well
The overall quality of the iron is pretty good. But there are a few minor inconveniences for me. The black plastic is quite dark, so when you pour in water, it’s hard to see the water level. At first, I kept overfilling it and spilling water. My previous iron smoothed and steamed wrinkled fabric much better. I feel like this one doesn’t heat up as well. But overall, the price and quality more or less match each other.

Awesome Iron!
This iron is fantastic! It's very light, heats up amazingly fast and you can set it down for awhile and it shuts itself off. I bought this iron to use on patches for a battle jacket! The iron is on for at least 8 to 10 hours a day. It's set on linen which is the highest setting this whole time, and puts the patches on melting the glue in just seconds. The jacket itself is a Levis Limited Edition Trucker jacket so it's cotton denim and I have no idea what each patch is made of. The ceramic heating plate slides over the patches AND the denim without burning, and glides like a breeze! Very easy to operate, and it's storage box is fantastic,as it has a pad in the bottom that is removable, and allows you to put your iron up hot INSIDE the box. I absolutley love this iron! The price is well worth paying for this iron. Electrolux out did themselves with this one! I'd give it 10 stars if they were up there.Enjoy your iron as much as I do folks👍! JimmyB.

Leaks Rust!
I bought this iron in April. Last week it started spewing rusty water, then rust flakes. It stains (look at my brand new ironing board cover; you shoudl see my khaki pants!). I have cleaned it three times according to the manufacturer's instructions but it is still spewing rust flakes, no matter how much I fill, rinse and turn on the steam. Other than this, it is a terrible iron - difficult to adjust temperature and the buttons for steam or spray are stiff and difficult to press. There is nothing good about this iron, expect for the elegant box it came in.

Nice iron
I badly needed to replace my old iron and so glad that I bought this one. It works great! I love how it heats and is ready to use in under a minute. In the time it takes me to lay out the item that I’m ironing, it’s already steaming and ready to go. I’m so often in a rush when I need something ironed that the time savings is valuable to me. I like that I’m able to adjust the steam intensity to suit what I need to press. The iron is also capable of adding a shot or spray of steam as needed for particularly stubborn creases or heavy fabrics. The water reservoir is conveniently sized so it doesn’t need to be refilled often, even if running it for a long time for something like quilting. The ceramic plate glides over fabric smoothly and delivers consistent, even heat. I do think that it helps reduce static compared to my old iron as well. The cord is super long at 10’ length, allowing me to easily iron anywhere.

Happy with purchase
I love the pointed end. I can iron around button and tight corners. It's sturdy. Love the extra long cord. I always bought cheap irons and this is the first really nice iron I have ever owned. no regrets.
