Such a great book for boys!
This book was highly enjoyable to read with my son! It’s full of true stories about amazing six year old boys. Each chapter is dedicated to a different boy with a different story. Each story inspires other boys to do great things such as facing their fears, including others, putting others before themselves, learning new things, taking chances, etc. While the book will be too difficult for most six year olds to read by themselves, it’s perfect to read aloud with your child. It would also be a great read aloud for teachers in elementary schools. The stories are suitable for children older than six as well. I recommend this book for children ages five through ten. It’s an inspirational book that’s also highly entertaining!

Good intention but language concerns
I like that the stories had good intention to teach a morale. However, as the stories are written like a diary of a 6 year old, there were several times the choice if words were not realistic. Example, my 6 year old grandson would not say ‘with the patience of a saint’, ‘I swear ..’, ‘I’ve deeply reflected on..’, ‘salvation’, ‘garden inhabitants’ etc. It just did not seem natural verbiage. I had to explain or paraphrase too often. But in the end I could summarize to share the intended lesson.

The six-year-old amazing boy was an excellent book, for the six-year-old boy that I gave it to.
The book was fabulous! The 6 year old that I gave it to? loved it. He was able to read it, too. I read a page and then he read a page. It’s a great book for a six-year-old amazing child. I highly recommend it.

Important Lessons Taught Well
This book is a collection of "stories" (really presumably made-up accounts) of young kids running into common young kid problems (getting angry, being nervous about approaching someone to be a new friend, the first day of school, etc.), and how they overcame the issues. The narratives treat the kids as actors with agency (very important in order to get the kids' buy-in), and they are short and crisply written. It's a great book to start discussions -- or to address something similar happening in your child's life.Five stars.
